So I saw an advertisement for this College Fest deal at Mont Tremblant.  4 days/5 nights in the slopeside condos and 4 days of lift tickets for $379.  Is this worth it?  Anyone ever done this college fest thing?

I usually go to Killington, Sugar Bush, or Stowe with my family as my good ski/snowboard trip for the season and then just hit the Poconos or Mountain Creek for the rest of the season.  However, my family isn't going to Vermont this year so I've been looking at going somewhere on my own.  I wasn't really planning on anything particular yet, and this advertisement just kind of fell into my lap so I figured I would check it out and see what people thought.

How do the conditions at Tremblant compare to the slopes in Vermont?  Any tips, great runs to check out, or anything like that?

Hey, I dont have toooooo much info on Tremblant but I have family that goes there every year. Actually I think its for College Fest... maybe. Anyway its nice there, its supposed to be the "East coast Whistler" of course not anywhere near AS big and nice as whistler but it is a sweet place to ride. The town is nice to stay in and the mountain is for sure worth the drive IMO. I dont have any trails I can recomend to you but when I see my family members that go there I can give you some more info. That sounds like a sweet deal though for sure. I actually was thinking of going this year myselfSmile The stats arent as good as Killingtons but if ya want somewhere new to go maybe check it out.Smile

Tremblant Stats:

- Elevation at the summit: 2871 feet
- Vertical drop of the south side: 2116 feet
- Number of trails: 94
- Skiable ground: 631 acres
- Artificial snow coverage: 465 acres
- Total trail length: 47.16 miles
- Longest trail: Nansen 3.75 miles)
- Undergrowth: 79.8 acres
- Incline: up to 42°

There is some info on it at that link above, I'm trying to find out more from my family that goes to it every year. You go in groups from different colleges, I think. The group by us is SUNY Delhi students and whoever else. I hope that link helps and if I find anything else out I will for sure post it up.
