Ya the Idiom doesn't have a waist gaiter... kinda sucks, but the jacket is still really tech, some people don't use it. Some of the jackets currently still don't have one...

hey boarder, I'm torn between the render and perimeter. What's your opinion? Go all out with the render or save some cash with the perimeter? Is the extra 10k and 3L worth it in the real world?

I hear ya. I'm 5'9" 200 lbs. I wear large. My Renders are definately baggy. The perimeter is more regular fit. But I've definately seen people wearing baggier coats lol. It's all about your steez. I've got an older Idiom for sale in size Large.

I was down at the local shop yesterday trying on some analog and man, I felt even the Med. was a bit big. I'm 5'8"/160 with a 32 waist and not sure of my other measurments. Pretty standard build I'd say. A medium T shirt with a tighter fit is what I wear. My current jacket is an older L Bonfire.
The med. volcom fit a little better and the med. Idiom fit great although I'd prefer a baggier design.

Jdsimmons2 - The Idiom jacket is very tech. Its made with Toray Entrant Dermizax Fabric. Not quite goretex but pretty close 20,000 mmH20. There is no waist gaiter... So no zip in deal... I don't use it anyways because Burtons zip tech sucks. You have to tuck everything into your pants, it can't go over your pants like volcom. Black BNR32 - Whats your measurements? I fit into a medium comfortably, but I wear large. LOL some people say you can never buy a coat too big, lol. But I won't wear XL... I'm sure you'd be looking good in it. And Analog isn't as long, so maybe a large wouldn't look huge on you because it wouldn't be quite as long. |

I just dont know, I have last years Special Blend Autograph Gore-tex jacket in a size medium and it fits perfect, maybe a lil big and baggy, I really like the burton jacket, but I dont want to buy it and have it be too big. I also need to get rid of my current jacket, I dont board enough to have 2 jackets really |

I fit into a both large burton ak and large special blend last year. The special blend was definately bigger and because it was the goretex jacket in the green camo print team fit? AK fits more regular. This denim one should fit you, from my experience.
