That's awesome! Was he mobbed when he got off the lift or did ppl not know it was him?

I think it's pretty easy to spot him, but then again he has short hair now right?  I remember seeing his doppelganger at the slopes, he looked and dressed just like White from his long cherry red hair to toes.
You'd think he'd wear stuff that ppl wouldn't recognize as to not attract attention to himself. But I'm sure he loves mingling with ppl when he rides.

He's a snowboarder so I'm sure he has less of a need or want to hide himself unlike movie stars or musicians.  So he's not much of a douche like what people think he is.

It's harder to recognize ppl on the slopes w/ all the gear, helmet, goggles, balaclavas covering up. But, he'd give it away when he does a double mctwist 1260...LOL

Cooler Runnings sounds like a poker movie to me.

Anyways, I'll be rooting for the Jamaican bobsled team. I think it would be hilariously awesome if they won Gold.

Watching the Aussie open. Classic match of Federer vs Nadal even though its no longer 1 & 2 in the world.

And I know it's a rerun from earlier. But still a classic battle between two of the best.

Fed is playing such clean matches. I'm so happy he switched rackets and his playing tactics to keep up with the younger guys. His net game is I love it! Hope he takes the whole thing.

Yea it was a really entertaining match. But Nadal has always owned Fed. I think he's 23-10 or 11 against him all time.

Did some axe throwing earlier today at my sisters bday. The place is called Batl in some dingy run down building in toronto. But it was an awesome time! Drinking beer and axe throwing. I'll try to upload some pics.

I figured this was the most appropriate thread since the random thread is messed up.

Duke vs Pitt tonight. Uncharted territory for both top 20 teams. Tough one to call. Pitt can beat you several different ways, but coach K can adapt on the fly.

You've got to have some videos, and I think that is what we need to get the full awesomeness of this axe-throwing venture.

I guess he is denying that, but there are lots of rumors out there.  I am sure he'll tweet out a picture of his bet when he makes it.  If he layed 10 Mil down in one bet, I wonder if that would shift the line or garner the attention of the gaming industry.  I know it would if it was a college game, but this game is probably going to have the most bets ever made considering how good the two teams are.

Lot of boarders are getting hurt in Sochi in the slopestyle course. Torstien is already out from a broken collarbone. That course must be wicked.

Huge blow for Norway. That was prolly one of their best chances to medal. Sebtoot said the course was crazy steep like jumping out of a building. Hope McMorris fully recovers from his rib injury.

I heard that he withdrew from slopestyle, so he can focus on halfpipe.  There must be something wrong with that course.

The 2014 Olympics hasn't started yet there's soooo many bad things to say about it already from the dangerous face water to the killing of stray dogs. Yeah I don't think I'll ever visit Russia.

The most brutal thing about the start to the games is Bob Costas' left eye.  On the first day of broadcast, he said he woke up and it was glued shut, and it looked worst last night.

Oh yeah that was funny cuz he tried to hide it wearing glasses! But you could spot that pink eye from space. It must've been the "dangerous brown face water" from their rooms.

And McMorris takes the bronze medal in slope style. Not bad for a guy with a few broken ribs.

Sage Kotsenburg takes the gold in slopestyle (first gold for the U.S. in this Olympics), did not see that coming.  I read there are some riders that aren't happy with the scoring since they threw triple corks and Kotsenburg did not.  Always going to be people complaining about an event that is judged instead of a sport that determines the winner by a score.  Especially when it's the ISF running the show...

Anywho, good to see the U.S. take the gold in slopestyle, way to go Kotsenburg.

Yeah Kotsenburg had great runs but judging has to be difficult.  Props to him for bringing it under Olympic pressure.  Plenty of the riders had smooth controlled landings w no bobbles. No doubt judges can be partial

I have been DVRing the Olympics so I can watch what interests me and fast forward through the other crap.  Loving Jamie Anderson right now...

So Danny Davis is saying the halfpipe is in poor condition, seeing how Sochi is one of the few places in Russia with a subtropical climate is anyone surprised?

Yeah I'm surprised they're doing this well this early. 7 medals already. Just caught a bit of short track speed skating. By far the most exciting event of the Olympics for me. I think it was Salt Lake where everyone wiped out on the last turn of the men's final and some Aussie snagged the gold.
