    Posted: Jan/17/2009 at 8:56am
Hello everyone, I am very new to these forums, but I was hoping someone could help me out. I was recently at Killington Mountain in Vermont for a four day trip and it did not exactly goes as planned. On the first day there I was inside one of the lodges eating some lunch, and when I went outside to pick up my board to my complete and utter disbelief someone had stolen my board. I was literally about to cry when I realized the truth. I reported it to Killington and they have not found anything. I had just dropped $700 a week before the trip for a new board and bindings. So now the rest of the season is absolutely ruined for me. I was wondering if anyone had an old extra board laying around someone could donate to me. I will take the first snowboard ever made, I need something to ride. Now being in college I have absolutely no money to shell out for a new board. If someone could find it in their heart to help me out you have no idea how much it would be appreciated. I can pay for shipping and possibly a couple extra dollars for it, but I am not sure how much extra I could pay.

Sincerely,

Cdino88

Tough luck man, I feel you. I was out on New Year's Eve at Windham in NY, put my board down for a bathroom break before the last run of the day, I came out and it was gone. So dejected that day, I'm gonna be locking my snowboard down from now on.

I am comfortable riding anything from 152-155. Yeah some people are greedy as hell. That is the problem with the world today.

sorry to hear that bro, sucks how some people have no ethics or morals these days.  Luckily for me most of the lodges i've been at have had storage services where you give them your board and take a number to get it back later on in the day.  But I'll definitly be getting a lock soon because I won't always be able to count on that. Best of luck

Yeah I almost got my board jacked before last season, but I got lucky because the dumbass who jacked in hid it somewhere that I found and reported it to the security.  Yeah use the board check if available, save you the hassle and money

i suggest you search craigslist for every state that borders killington....

also i suggest check ebay...

look for someone selling the make of your board and those bindings...

trust me, it seems unlikely but it could be a very good possiblity that someone who stole your board is in need of money and thats were they will turn to get it.

If you happen to remember or still have ur sticker of the model number... ur proof in court could easily be made.... plus u could have the glory of kicking the shat outta the person who swiped ur board.
