So far it would have to be my Lib Tech Phoenix, its fast, responds well, and works like a charm.

Bataleon Evil Twin.

I have not tried other Bataleon models yet, but that TBT tech really works. I'm just back from a week's ride on the mountain and I have tried many stupid ground tricks (I guess they don't even have a name for them) without kissing the ground.

I also had a Custom X with me, wow what a great board! I have almost forgotten how fast and beautifuly it rides, just like a hot knife through butter. Smile

However Bataleon ET was so comfortable and playful that I couldn't help myself but neglect the Custom X. Only I wish ET had a sintered base.

I still compare every new stick I buy or try to my Rome Anthem --- it's not a "sexy" pick, but it suits me well...

^^ You gotta be kidding.   Unless it was your first board and has some very sentimental meaning.

Right now I'm getting pretty stoked on my Forum Seeker, but I've yet to try out my other decks and I wanna get a shorter softer board for mostly park   so will report back later

My Seeker should be arriving Monday but I'll be at Mammoth so I won't get to ride it till the following weekend. I've been riding the shat out of the subpop lately and don't know how much use the Seeker will even get.

Bataleon Riot/ Goliath.

Sarpedonice, try the Riot. It's basically the Evil Twin with a sintered base. And I absolutely agree, Bataleon boards offer the most fun I've ever had on a board. You can do some crazy stuff and still not catch an edge.

I like the Goliath more for hard charging days though.

What size Seeker did you get, just curious?    Cuz I got the 156 and i'm 5'7 and about 165/170  and its a perfect jumping board for me.  Which in turn equals a really good all mountain stick for me.   haven't had a shot at a pipe with it yet, but should be good considering Transworld gave it a good wood pipe

Youngbloods are good boards.   Haven't been on one, but have heard good things.

Just cuz a board has a small price tag doesn't mean that its not a good board.

For me over the past 3 years it has been the Rome Artifact.
But it looks like this will be my last year on them seeing how the 010 Romes are all just ugly.

I really like the Capita Stairmaster Extremes!!!

I love my Ride Timeless.
It is a 156, which has been my shortest board, but is bar far the fastest.
I ride all mountain, but fool around in the park from time to time. Not 1/2's but jumps, rails and boxes.
The board is light and after three years still has great pop. Edge holds tight for fast cruising down the left or right edge of the trails. No chatter, and very predictable.
Boots on the other hand I can't get right. New boots this season, worked great first two days, but now are getting uncomfortable.
Any suggestions?

Interesting that you like the Seeker but thought the TRS was too stiff for your style... my impression was that the Seeker is a much more aggressive board than the TRS, the 08 BTX version at least.

I like all kinds of boards for all kinds of reasons.  But if you stuck a gun to my head and made me pick one from my quiver over all else......

Damn, I really can't pick here.  I'm thinking my DCP Custom X.  Super fast, responsive and tons of pop.  Close second place would be the Vapor (who could not love Shonuff) and Skate Banana.

Head Team ICT, Rome Design following behind that

I didn't have the BTX version.  I had the basic.   and the TRS was a 159 that i was gonna use for steeps but then realized that it was a tad small for that for me(just preference) and picked up a 162 custom for a lot cheaper.
I think i like the Seeker more, even if it is stiffer, because it is a true twin and its shorter.
If i could get on a TRS BTX it'd likely become my go-to everyday board

i compare everything to a few different boards:

Burton Custom 155 from 94/95
Burton Rippey 156 from 97/98
Burton Uninc 158 from 07/08
Ride DH 155 from 06/07
Rome Artifact 56 from 06/07
Nitro Suprateam LH 159 from 05/06

all time favorite? i guess the LH has stood the test of time. not sure if i'd call it my favorite, but if i'm riding it, it's usually steep, deep and full of sheep. Big%20smile

Dustin I also think about getting me a stiffer and faster Bataleon but I'm not sure about the model. Goliath or The Jam? The Jam has a faster base I guess.

It's definitely a fun stick.   like i said tho, on the stiffer side but holds an edges really well. I've only washed out when on ice, but any board will do that and on monday when i was hauling and almost kissing the ground on a carve

PM me, i'll be out west soon maybe you could ride it then

I've ridden my friend's goliath and it was fun.  But I think my The Jam is a little faster.  It does have the sintered base.  But I wasn't really pushing it too hard on the Goliath.  It seemed a little softer too. But at that point, I didn't break in The Jam yet.

I've only ridden my custom so far (not counting rentals, of coarse)  but I just got my stairmaster, so I'm going to try that out this weekend.  I really like the way the burton rides so far, and can't wait to get on my new board to see how they compare.  It really sucks living so far from snow, I only get to ride one or two weeks each year.Cry

2007 Burton Jussi 154
I know I said my Seeker earlier in the thread, but I popped my Jussi's cherry out west and have been riding it since quite a bit.

I just got a chance to ride it cuz i bought it new on ebay this summer and just couldn't justify popping it's cherry at Snow Creek.  So it had to wait.
I love it cuz of how quick it is edge to edge.  how it is pretty damn fast.  Has MAD pop (so much it effed me up once pretty bad, long story short I landed too far down landing flat going mach 10.  went into a turtle spin, and landed my ass in a creek.  How fun is that?)  it has an insane graffic, i got so many complitments for it and have had my coworkers oogly eyin it.    and it is just insanely fun to ride.   I know it doesn't have ICS, but hell, I love it.

I've had my fair share of boards and this is by far my favorite board

I might be buying a 2008 Rome Agent 152 from one of my buddies in Park Crew at my work.  We'll see if that will be good

2005 Ride theory

I have owned many boards since then but this one still does it for me. Every other person that gets on it laughs at me as how outdated the tech is but i still pull it out at least 1/3 of the time. It doesnt have much of either tip left or a smooth bottom but i am going to ride it until it completely breaks down. Kinda like good pussoir
