Uk has amazing riding if you hit the conditions right. Check out this photo. Thats at a small drag lift in north England called Yad moss. Scotland's allot more reliable for snow. they've got a few resorts. Glencoe, Glenshee, Cairngorm and Lecht to name a few.

http://www.ski-glenshee.co.uk/ (probably the biggest - by number of runs/tows)

http://www.glencoemountain.com/  (2nd biggest)

http://snowsports.nevisrange.co.uk/   (newest)

http://www.glencoemountain.com/   (wild but fun - site might not be working at the moment as under new management from Friday and getting an overhaul as a result)

http://www.lecht.co.uk/  (smallest)

Whats the craic! was sure ther was noone this side of the water on this site lol.

Irishman living in Scotland here, just taken up boarding there over a year ago, was at cairngorms last march was ok a bit shy on snow but looking forward to this season gonna take more time off this year and make an effort.

Glencoe is open already on advanced runs and i think Cairngorms won't be far behind. Speaking to snowboard instructer at xscape last week he recommends Nevis or Cairngorms for Boarding And Glenshee is great due to the number of runs.

S'up guys. Yep I'm from England  Newcastle to be more exact. There's a few brits dotted around the forum.

Stass is one of the main ones, she's from Brigthon and flies into Tahoe on Sunday  we got an apartment together in Truckee for the season  we're calling it the British Embassy (Tahoe Branch)

And it's lovely to see England being drawn in the same group as the USA in the World Cup the banter has already started here at the office LOL
More Tea Lord Douglas?
