He seemed to constantly stir up trouble between sierra and the bmb and he constantly got around the filters and posted words like F*ck after being asked not to.  I am guessing this is why he was banned but I have no actual knowledge of why he was banned.

Yeah, honestly I don't understand all the hate, I was looking around BMB and there is just so much damn hate all over the place, I would much rather be here with nice people, who cares if there are some inexperienced people here, we all started somewhere and I'd rather be in a welcoming community than a hater one. They even have a thread about who they hate on the forums.

They may think they are hot shat, but honestly, they just seem like female cleanser bags who want to hate on everyone. Not people I would want to associate with.


I like Sierra way better.


PS: Rocheezy, I'm really sorry I haven't gotten to your sig yet, midterms these past two weeks, plus snowboarding all weekend, I'll really try to get it done this week but I have a Math exam, a Sociology essay, a BLaw exam, and a speech to prepare, so we'll see! While it's true that Spenser's attitude is not the most uplifting, I'm suprised to see him banned. I guess I can see being banned for bypassing swear word filters, but seriously, there's nearly nudie pics all over the place... which is worse?

The whole thing is just kind of retarded(BMB Vs. Sierra). There are a lot of similarities, but then there are also 2 sets of rules that each are subjected to. Over there you get flamed for asking what are perceived to be stupid questions. Here you get let down a little easier because it's linked to a store. There's not a lot of calling out the stupidity on this site because not a lot of people can do it tactfully enough to have it not be considered a flame, so people just let it pass. Also a lot more people roll through here because of all the deals, and they join and make dumb posts to try and get points. Personally I would make fun of a lot of things that get posted here too, are you saying you wouldn't?

For me it comes down to facts of life and decisions I've made. I enjoy being a nice guy. Nice guys get made fun of, right wrong or indifferent, it's gonna happen. I'm alright with that, so who cares if BMB has a "Stupid Sierra Thread of the Day"? Why does it matter? I care about what some of the people on here say because I've had enough back and forth with them that I consider them friends, but the guys from the BMB, Who gives a shat?

And one last thing in honor of Spenser, It's just the internet.

well said.  If bashing other forums/people helps them sleep at night then good for them.  All I care is that i enjoy talking to people here and getting some crazy deals along the way. 

This is a sad day and to emphasis Phatman, These boards are completely different then the bmb because we are linked to the store, also, many of us like to give advice and help out the people with newbie questions, hence the advice and live chat feature.where bmb could give less of a flying F-word.

but you act like he was all giggles and kittens when he was here. Don't get me wrong, he wasn't my favorite person, but I believe in all fairness, he called it as he saw it the same on both sides. He didn't come over here and be like "Wow! Sierra is Great" he always said when he thought something was stupid whether through actually calling it stupid or copious amounts of sarcasm. Hell the reason a lot of people didn't like him was because he called a lot of stuff stupid.

Yeah, I lurk over there sometimes so I see that their hypocrisy knows no bounds I've ridden with a couple guys from over there and I know there are a few good guys. Like someone else said more than anything it reminds me of highschool.

Nevermind that this forum is about 1000x more active then BMB. It's the same handful of people on there all the time - so if anybody new shows up, it's immediately like "who the hell are you?". Somebody asks a question that might be obvious to other people - and they just go off. Don't understand their inside jokes, they go off.
