Yikes...1300 is more than all my gear combined I think.  Ebay is probably the best bet, or maybe craigslist.

Ebay Craigslist and maybe even Yahoo Auction. $1300 for a board is beyond my league.

Platinum_le The Palmer Platinum LE is one finicky plank but if you can master its temperamental ride, this board will launch you downhill in a blur of exhilaration and terror. Forged from 100% carbon laminate, the Platinum LE features meticulously engineered sidecuts that deliver lightning quick edge-to-edge response. The result is extremely fast (the quickest board we tested by far) and that responsiveness leaves very little room for error. During our tests, we hit a particularly nasty patch of chop and instead of a minor slowdown, the lip caught and catapulted board and rider end over end in a particularly hilarious wipeout. —Miguel Pino

Perfect for: Moderately skilled rich kids who had to “rough it” in Aspen this year instead of Switzerland. Harsh!

WIRED Carbon construction delivers excellent torsion and flex. Extremely rugged without cutting into weight or performance.  Edge-to-edge response is phenomenal, requiring minimal effort for turns. Granite base is insanely fast and kept us speed checking.

TIRED It costs 1900 bucks, no kidding. Super persnickety; the first few times we rode this board, it bucked us like a mechanical bull. Tough exterior still managed to scuff.

$1,900, palmersnowboards.com

That's a crazy price for such a board. Still don't know why it's so expensive. But yeah, ebay and craigslist are most likely your best shot.

I would love to demo this board.  You can try some ski shops for that matter, I doubt they would pay that price for it, though give it a try.
