Conditions:
Cool, Groomed, Cold, Powder, Packed Powder

Matched with: Rome 390, Burton Ion

Rider: 5'9.45326" 160lbs. 5th season, advance noob.

Initial impressions: graphics. i did not dig the graphics. seemed too girly for me.  this was reinforced when my female friend first saw the board at mammoth and asked if it was another female friends board.  the purple probably didnt help. camber. this thing has ginormous camber as zag stated. soft. but not as soft as the rocker.  seemed pretty wide as i mounted up the 390s. seemed wider than the rocker even though signals site listed them as the same waist width

Pros: Pretty soft fun board. Easy to butter. Good pop. Decent at mid speeds. It felt wider than the rocker to me and therefore was more stable for kickers. I could land stuff that would wash out on me if i was on the rocker.

Cons: Because it felt wider, edge to edge wasnt as quick.  Took me 2 runs to get use to.  Chatter at high speeds.

Overall: I did not like riding this as much as the rocker.  The graphics are meh.  As Zag said, this board would be good for the park and not for high speed runs.  I cant wait to see Hoons review on this.  He did not like the rocker which I loved.

THE HAMMER SERIES.

My boards this year are GOLD! I love it! I've designed each board within the series to handle the specific types of terrain I ride. The 151 and 153 are built to ride the park. Soft and poppy, these board works great for when you want to bounce and fly around all day. From hitting rails to the biggest park jumps these boards are designed to respond in perfect harmony with powerful riding styles and quick recalculations. The 155 is designed with a more medium flex through the center for holding it steady at maximum velocity off the cheese wedge and over the death gap.
