I personally just lock myself in my room, drape the windows, and reminisce of the snow days...  seems normal to me

get a snow maker. and get a pile of dirt in your backyard to put the snow on. that'd be tight

Here's what I do. My fiance and I take an old board of his, we duck tape the edges, and we get on our trampoline and practice doing flips and grabs and spins and stuff. We also take an old cooler and wet it down on top, and we practice jumping and spinning on it like it's a funbox. There really isn't much else you can do unless you've got the money to fly to chile or somewhere.

It's High Cascade summer camp for me. Went last year and loved it, going back this year. Real snow in the middle of the summer, riding in your T-shirt. Good coaches and a lot of other stuff to do.   Check it out   highcascade.com

Living in NC at least 3 hours from slopes/shores really stinks sometimes. And the boarding season is so short here too. Maybe I'll move out west or something...

I've tried to wakeboard, and I could never get up on the board. The rope would just fly out of my hands and my back/hands would hurt like nothing else. Snowboarding is cakewalk to get going, just turn the board downhill

or skimming! or take up break dancing

i went to whistler last june n they were still snowboarding! they board til the middle of july!
