That's what I was thinking, there is no way I would want to ride a freebord at that speed. They are way too unstable, even at 25 they get uncontrollable wobble when trying to go straight. It's because you are on two wheels |

Can anyone recommend some resorts in Chile?
I've been thinking about Visiting for a long time, even before I got into snowboarding. |

You can go to Valle Nevado, El Colorado, La Parva all connected and 1hour aprox from Santiago. Theres also Portillo near Santiago. South is ok also, like Chillan and that stuff, but this year I really dont recommend it. Probably some of those places + bridges pretty damaged by quake so I would just stick to Santiago. |

I'm from Argentina. Argentina and Chile have a lot or resorts. I like Las Leñas and Chapelco, both in Argentina. Cerro Castor is in Ushuaia (Arg) and it is the first that have snow. Sorry by my poor english. Saludos |

Id say try wakeboarding too. Ive been wakeboarding longer then I've been snowboarding and its tons of fun. Plus all the tan girls in their tiny swim suits makes wakeboarding all that more nicer. |

Many bigger resorts have summer camp. You can try that. If you are into freestyle, it's great. They have coaches who can teach many useful things.
