Saturday was super fun! sure it was crowded but it's all for fun

I saw grips of nice decks..I was surprised to see higher end capitas and NS sticks on a first day! and saw bunch of Sierras too! how sweet it is to be able to ride again.

if it's dirt you wouldn't be able to ride it.  just stay on chisholm since coverage is decent there don't go off on other runs which I saw a couple of ppl do...heard their board scraping rock

It's suppose to snow on the weekend..so coverage will be better..I might be up there Friday..really early..do all the runs possible before it starts getting too packed..I'm excited!

they have a few more runs open now too. pretty stoked that they were able to open so much of the mtn this quick.  hope the storms keep rolling in.

I was there Wednesday 11/09 for my first day of the season. West was open top to bottom via Wyatt and Lower Chisholm. Wow I was dead tired after only 2.5 hours. Condition was good and it wasn't crowded at all.

It was so overcrowded on Sunday. I woke up late and got there almost 11AM, they're turning people away because the tickets are sold out (lucky I have season pass). The lines at the blue ridge express were a total cluster-eff like always and it takes forever to get on the lift. I left after 2.5 hours. 

Moral of the story, go on weekdays or be there at 8AM so you can shred and leave after 10:30.

i was at bear on sunday. it definitely felt like spring. Hard packed in the morning that softened as the day went on. I assume Mt High had similar conditions.
