ok, here's the outline... similar to our egg toss and pin the tail on the member, we are using each members unique id # as an identifyer. (to find your id#, log in and click "View Live Profile" (below the resort reports tab in the upper left hand corner). In the web address look at the number at the end of the address. (mine is 3 http://www.sierrasnowboard.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=3 )
- we have ten paper airplanes with numbers 0-9 on each
- there will be four heats, each heat determines one digit in a members id. Whichever plane goes the furthest, that # will be placed in the spot.
- heat 1: airplanes with numbers 0,1,2 will be thrown to determine placement 1. x _ _ _
- heat 2: xx__ (planes 0-9)
- heat 3: xxx_ (planes 0-9)
-heat 4: xxxx (planes 0-9)
The member whose id# is XXXX wins a burton retro twin snowboard!
If you're logged on for the contest and you're top gun and win , you will also win a pair of Burton Goretex Gloves!
here's the planes getting fired up:
Tune in Wed Nov 1st at 1:00pm (pacific) for the Burton Retro Twin Snowboard giveaway. The winner will be chosen COMPLETLY AT RANDOM, any community member has a chance to win. In the past we have played games such as pin the tail on the member and an egg toss... Paper airplanes will probaly be part of the event this weeks event. Those that are online wed. Nice! I could definatley use a new snowboard set up because my bindings are serviving on scavenged screws and my board is a novelty Beer board that was made in China. The other set up I could put on ebay then give the proceeds to a charity.
