^^ Remember... "Freedom costs a Buck - Oh - Five..."  I recently watched Team America for the first time in probably 8 years... holy crap it was great.

Not really a spam comment, because they are a professional company.  Professional companies don't spam snowboarding forums.  you know, cause they're professional.

It seems the minimalists are back in town, but now that I think about it there haven't been much of any reviews lately from anybody but maybe people are waiting for the season to start to use their new gears because I know I am.

Yes, some of us have the ability to block an IP.

Yes, best thing to do is leave the posts/threads unflagged until one of us can block the IP, then delete.

Sounds like the best way is to not spam or delete, but to post the link for the experts to block the ip then they can delete the post.

^ So what is the best way to handle spam?  Delete or mark as "spam"?  Do the Expert Members have the ability to block an IP?

The spam isn't as bad as it used to be but every now and then a spammer posts a bunch of crap.

I took care of it Joel.  Also, once the post is marked Spam I can no longer block the IP.  I usually browse around a couple times a week in the morning to keep the place clean.

just a request for whomever "spammed" the link from sideways above, I am not always the most prompt, but once it's marked as spam I cannot delete it.  I prefer to delete those posts altogether.  So I know I was a slacker this time, but it's like that if you have spam privileges you have delete privileges...do what makes you happy.

Fair enough, I guess different people find different things beneficial.  Reviews that show nothing other than whether something fits true to size or not is quite valuable to me when purchasing any apparel items online.  Anyway, take it easy fellas.

No offense but your reviews are pretty crappy, people care more for reviews that says more than if a product is crappy or not, they'd like to know as to why and how does it feel or fit for your size and riding style.  Also, opinions on certain features.  You don't need to be a professional review writer to make a good review, it's just a matter of putting your thoughts into more words because a majority of reviews posted on here do not give me any helpful information that I already know about the product because they never go into details as to why.

Not a witch hunt, just pointing out the crappy point-grabbing reviews.  None of your reviews have any substance at all, for example:  " Kind of silly to write a review about laces, but I really was happy with these!!".  Kind of silly to write a review about laces but what the hell, it will give me 5 points so let's write it up!  Now that was an old one, I'll give you that, but even your recent reviews are crap.  Read this and tell us if your reviews are up to snuff:

http://www.trusnow.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=43082&FID=6&PR=3

Don't take it so personally, too, it's not an attack on you, just on your crap reviews.  People are too sensitive these days.

Thanks, I will have a great weekend!

Hey Sideways, I need to straighten something up with you bud.  With exception to my review of the Electric socks I call bull on your assertion that my reviews are crappy.  I'm not sure what your witch hunt is all about, but you're really stretching it to call me out.  I post reviews with my reaction to items I've purchased to help others know if something is crap or great.

Grenade Gloves - letting others know that they were cheesy/aka crappy and not worth buying in my opinion.  Surprising to me that there are already 4 people stating it is not a helpful review.  No doubt due to your unfounded post calling attention to any of my reviews.
Analog Hat - sharing that it has a unique texture and that that I regularly get compliments on it.  Totally my favorite hat as I'm on number 3.
Sierra Reverse Crew - What exactly is crappy about this review.
Electric Hardknox Sunglasses - I was surprised how big these were and thought it was worth letting others know that they are bigger than Wayfarers, which I think it helpful.
Burton Tether Lock - pertinent information on a crappy lock that no longer even works at this point.
etc. etc. etc.

Anyway, I'm not a professional review writer (are you?) but felt compelled to make it clear that I put forth a genuine effort to provide information that will help other members make better informed purchasing decisions.  I'm pretty sure that is the point of reviews.

Have a great weekend pouring over reviews to blast on the forum board.  WinkClap
