This is my baby.  Bought it for myself for my 25th birthday LOL.  Giant OCR 1, full ultegra components, some other upgrades here and there.  Just got a monster tune, replaced all the cables, etc.  I'm looking to pick up a new wheelset sometime this summer.  I also have a tendency to throw on my aerobars for 60+ mile rides.

Here's mine. I originally set a target budget of about $2000. Ended up blowing through that... this crap is just as bad as a snowboarding addiction, except you don't have to drive 5 hours to ride and pay for insane lift tickets.

What brand/model is that?

I'm looking to get a road bike in the near future.  Or a track bike.  Or a mountain bike.  I seriously can't make up my mind.

I used to ride trails for hours as a teenager.  Literally the whole day.  Would often even ride my mountain bike on the road for 50 miles at a time.  This was before cycling had really blown up in Portland.

Jumped on a bike a few months ago and damn near passed out after about 1/4 of a mile.  I f.a.i.l.

getting old sucks.  Atleast you make a lot more money now than you did as a kid.  At least that is how I justify my lack of exercise.

In 2004 that was the only R6.  The R6"s" was born officially in 2006 when the new body style came out.  Yamaha decided to keep producing the old one alongside it for some reason , kinda like when Ducati came out with the xx9 series in 2003, you could still buy new versions of the old xx8 bodystyle up until 2004.

It's not that bad after a few rides. I got a new bike for Father's Day last year and thought it was going to kill me, but after riding once or twice a week for a couple weeks I was fine-- even hauling 100+lbs of trailer, kid and groceries home from the store.

This is my bro's that I ride all the time. I've been shopping around on craigslist for myself haven't found one yet. Although, yesterday I was gonna go pick up 2000 Stumpjumper FSR XC Pro for like $350 (originally $2300), but the guy sold it before i could pick it up. Starting to get annoying, it's happened a couple times now.

2001 KHS FXT Pro

Hey sorry for not responding, just saw your post now. It's a generic frame from ADK I think. Not the highest quality weave but it gets the job done and the price was right. Drive train / gruppo is SRAM Force from 2 or 3 years back. Most of everything else is Ritchey, saddle is a Specialized Toupe.

Depending how much time you spend in the trails, a mountain bike might be the best bet since you can use it on the roads, and if it ever comes down to it, you can just get thinner slicks to cut down on rolling resistance. It'll also be more durable for all the potholes in the road.

well, as my camera is currently lost, here is a stock photo of mine

Boulder Sports Edition

although, I have replaced the tired, gotten a new seat, added new grips, water bottle holder, etc.

just cheap stuff, as I have no budget.

but, in the summer, I easily put in over 15 miles a day, as it is my main form of transportation until my liscence comes along.

I have a specialized s works of some sort...I dunno the model, I got it used at a garage sale. It was originally like $2000 but i picked it up for about $200 with a messed up derailleur Thumbs Up

The last time I went riding I went into an arroyo and hit a rock and now my derailleur is more messed up. before I couldn't switch into second gear from first without going into third, and now I can't switch out of second without my chain slipping.

pictures to come...

Wow I remember when I was riding BMX bikes, GT and Haro were some of the more popular brands. I think my brother's GT Mach One is still around somewhere. I rode a Mongoose Solution Pro which was my introduction to aluminum.

As far as XC Mountain biking, it seems like Specialized and Trek are on top right now.

I have a Malvern Star, no idea what model but its just your stock standard bike. No suspension forks or anything like that. It used to be my dads but I claimed it. It does the job, I havnt ridden my bike for months. I cant remember the last time I rode my bike!
I only snowboard because its cool.
