For those who do not know Nick Adenhart of the Los Angeles Angels died in a tragic accident last night.  He and three others, non players, were going out after the game and were struck by a drunk driver that ran a red light.  Their car hit a pole resulting in three dead and one in critical condition.  The drunk driver ran off on foot and was later captured.  May they rest in peace and may that drunk F#*k suffer more pain than the family of the deceased.

I was at that game but one ramp away.  With that many people at the game and the camera footage I think they will get caught.  This stuff just doesn't happen at Angel stadium.  There was also a piece of cement (5x2 inches) that fell and almost hit some fans.  They were all upgraded to dugout seats.

It's pretty sad, he was a good pitcher and had tons of potential and really young.
Here is a picture of the aftermath of the hit and run. China I agree with you, I hope that drunk driver gets what he deserves.

No, she gets a special cologne... It's called Sex Panther by Odeon. It's illegal in nine countries... Yep, it's made with bits of real panther, so you know it's good....They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time it works, every time.

Read this story this morning... so very sad.  A horrible loss for baseball (A's fan here) and for the friends and family of everyone involved in this accident.

The driver of the car who hit them already had his license suspended for driving drunk. Last month, a drunk driver in my town crashed into a bunch of cars on my street. They also were driving with a suspended license. There's a hard lesson to be learned here. Driving drunk = sooooooo stupid.

After seeing those pictures I'm surprised that all four didn't die instantly.  The guy just looks like a felon.  As a repeat offender I hope they charge him with 1st degree murder.

He does look like a felon. I hope he goes away for a long time. Being a repeat offender has to weigh in on the decision.

this is such sad news when it happens to anybody.  hopefully, if anything good can be taken out of this event at all, it is that because he was a professional athlete and is seen by many that someone somewhere will realize the pain and hurt driving drunk can cause and makes the right decision sometime in the future.

I can see the Angles setting up a scholarship or foundation in his name dealing with drunk drivers. The Angles and Mothers Against Drunk Driving is a definite possibility about groups getting together.

HARDEST thing to do in life is forgive someone-my opinion.
i dont think we have to wish for him to suffer-hes already going to have 3 lives on his chest for the rest of his life

Do you really think a guy like this feels bad about what he did?  He's a repeat offender and he fled the scene on foot.  When a normal  person accidentally kills three people they don't run.  They break down and feel like sh*t.  They don't flee on foot and evade the police.  Plus how many times do you need to forgive a person?  This is his second time that he got caught.  That's a lot of forgiving.

I hate drunk drivers. You hear so many people going "nah man I'm cool" and they're loaded and drive off. Just flat out scary.

This is very sad, there is no excuse for drunk driving. Just call for a ride from family, friends, or cab service

Very sad story yesterday. As a die hard Dodgers fan I got a reminder what really is important. I felt bad for his family, Angels org, Angel fans and all baseball fans in general. RIP Nick Adenhart. Another life lost for a stupid actions of another person.
Lost my old account, started a new one.....maybe I will I get the noob good luck and win something ;)
