Recently I broke my Capita Horrorscope, for various reasons it is not going to be warrantied.  I currently have two park boards, an x8v and hero.  They are both ics, spoon tech, blah blah but the x8v is cambered.

I am trying to decide which to sell, the hero is a 2010 and the flex is a little softer than this years (at least that is my take, it has been a couple months since I rode the 09 hero).

original retail for the boards was $850 for the x8v and $450 for the hero.

Whoa Joel!  What's up w/ the warranty status for your Capita!  Did you just go too gnar on it?? Question:  why do you want to sell either board?

Brantly (happy)
Uuummmm, this is a tasty burger! Mind if I have some of your tasty beverage to wash this down with?

I would sell x8v b/c you can get more money for it. I am guessing you don't really like one a lot more than other or you would be selling that one.

Woah, this is the first time I've ever seen the X8V. Like the restrained graphics. Sick quiver.

I posted a new topic for the Capita warranty issue after I had a chance to check out the can i help you fix this thread? pm meure in more detail.

I don't know what to do about these 2 boards, I really don't need either one of them.  The hero is fun, the x8v is extremely light but feels more like a pipe board to me.

Sierra probably wouldn't enjoy you selling the hero here, and I will note that there was a 2010 hero & 2010 x8 on ebay earlier this week and they are gone now.. So, take that however you want :)

I would hold onto the hero for a bit, and sell the x8v.

why do you think sierra has a classified section?  there isn't a rule that says I can't sell a board from 2010 either.

I am torn, I think I might agree with stass.

i don't know if you have your eye on any other 2010 board but if you did it would make sense to get rid of the X8 so you could get another one you wanted.  What other boards do you have now?  I know you and Bru whored it up last week LOL.

seems like you have no preference which you prefer.
if you need the money sell the x8v
if not, then try sell them both and whichever one sells first you keep the other, simple.

How could you sell the Hero? That is such a fun board. Never rode the X, but they both look good.
