as far as resort riding goes, I would take jackson or a couple other rocky mtn resorts before AK. Never been in the bc of AK so even if I went, I would probably not survive. I think most of us probably prefer our home resorts and what we know (at least in a few states). For those who don't mind hiking, you can also ride year round here...not the best, but it's still snow. damn I need some snow.

I also find a change can be a lot of fun too as long as you have a few days to ride it. If you are only riding it for a day it seems like you just start to understand it and then you have to go. When you go for a few days you really get to learn what is fun on that kind of snow.

just watched mullers eaglecrest part on fuel tv. man i really wanna go ride eagle crest. i love when i see him hit some gnarly pillow line and immediatly ride under a lift. you dont get that kind of shit shite via lift around here thats for sure.

*CLAIM ALERT* you guys should be seeing some more juneau footage in the new absinthe movie this year.. they were in town for a long time. gigi, jp solberg, dcp, wille yli-luoma, oli gagnon, MFM, even saw travice rice, and im sure there are a couple im forgetting. so hard not to turn into an over excited pro ho, but when most of your favorite riders happen to be riding at your place all at the same time, and when i rode with gigi and jp and dcp.. you gotta give me a break and let me get excited. especially when gigi saw the pirates sticker on my car and yells to me "hey pirate!" just about pooped my pants. /tangent /claims |

ill probably end up buying the burton video and neverland this year. do you know anywhere to find snowboard videos online? only one i could find streaming was thats it thats all. i didnt search too hard though.

Where I live the most pow we've gotten was 24in in a day. But that was two years ago and it was the first time that much snow fell in about 30 years, according to the news. Yeah Central Ohio sucks. Our mt, Mad River Mountain, is not even a mt it is a hill with 300 ft. verticle drop. Louie Vito started out here. Mountain stats, if your interested
