Keystone or Big Sky

   Looking for some information and/or opinions on these two places.

Moving out there for a little while with a friend, trying to pick which one.

I don't know too much about either, but here are my thoughts...

Keystone's selling point is that there are 5? mountains within an hour of each other, so any "boredom" at one, and it's a quick trip to go somewhere new.

Big Sky is supposed to have tons of freeriding terrain.. which is nice since I'm not really a park guy.  But since it's only one resort, there wouldn't be as much variety as Summit County.

Big Sky also seems to be kinda in the middle of nowhere, with not much going on off of the mountain.  I've heard there is a bit more going on in Keystone, or surrounding areas(Breck).

Anyone who has experience with either place(or both, preferably)  PLEASE chime in and offer some insight.

	well i recommend keystone, its my personal favorite A-Basin is 5 minutes away pretty much Keystone has 3 peaks, usually the first one is crowded the back bowls are AMAZING though, not many people go there and its a 5 minute walk (lol) Breck is good, i've been there twice, very big resort, and a nice town to hang out in after snowboarding Abasin usually has the best snow/most powder its considered the "locals" mountain because its not as big, and not as many people go there once keystone opens up. also the lifts are a little bit slower, but i'm sure it beats the crowds at the other resorts keystone had an awesome terrain park, same with breck last year. i'd say you wouldn't be disappointed getting the colorado pass (for unlimited at Abasin, Keystone, and Breck) also 10 free days at VAIL and Beaver creek its a damn good deal mang.

	I think you answered your own question ...but Big Sky is f-ing huge! Have you looked at the satellite map of that area? It would take me several seasons to ride every nook and cranny of all those trails (although some of the clear-cuts not part of big sky might be XC).

	How the heck do people accomplish moving by a resort for a few months out of the year? People don't have full time jobs and/or other obligations not to mention leases for housing or mortgages where they pay for both places for months at a time?
