^ Why no boarding?  That would be depressing.

I'm planning a trip to Utah with 5-8 friends for late March/early April.  I hope all 8 can go, a few have work or family obligations which may prevent them from attending.

Maybe it's the mood i'm in right now with work being a pain... but ^^this^^ made me laugh inappropriately loud.

So Scotland ultimately said "No."  The union jack is safe for now.

^^ well, I certainly enjoyed the wedding.... it just wasn't the party I was hoping for (for me that is!).

Honestly, it was a humbling experience: all of those people who traveled  from far and wide, just to be there and support us.  now that was awesome!

thanks for this advice. reading it made me a lot calmer and more willing to be like "whatevs"

I'd say the "lamest" wedding I've ever been to was my own. You don't really get to have a ton of fun at your own; too many guests to talk to and stuff.  It's a pretty common theme around our friend's group.  A few other guys say that mine was their best, so... i guess it was fun for the guests? :)

Makes sense when you have to do the meet and greet for every guest. I guess no matter how big or small my future wedding will be, I won't be able to enjoy it. That kinda sucks just thinking about it.

^ That was good advice.

Make sure you take time out throughout the day, just soak everything in, take a mental snapshot of everyone around you and keep it.  The best memories are of being with family and friends, not the food that was served or the bridesmaid's flowers, no one remembers that stuff.  Just be sure to enjoy yourself and make sure your bride is enjoying herself, too.

There will always be some form of segregation whether it's religious or due to the color of your skin. It's competition and even the wild has the same segregation. Murder happening because of a disagree acne of who's God is right is the complete opposite of what religion is described.

Wow...they must have missed the entire "love your neighbor" part of the Bible. And the "Jesus came for sinners" part too. And I guess the 10 Commandments only applies..when they feel like it? Oh well, most Christians skip over Commandment #4 anyways...they have no idea what they're doing. Confused

Their rationing was that you can do anything sinful like murder as long as you're Christian and the other person wasn't or a bad Christian because god will forgive you if you repent.  However, I wasn't able to convince them to murder me on the spot for my sinful ways so they weren't as hardcore as they claim to be.  LOL

Using religion to kill people is nothing new, it's been done many times in history.  I used that logic on these group of girls who tried to convince me to convert to Christianity when I was at school.  They were like uhhh I guess it's okay to kill someone for following a different religion because they're not Christians.

Going way off our normal chat here; but today, the people of Scotland are voting whether or not to stay in the British Union.  The red hair in my beard is a direct result of my ancient family's time in the Highlands.  Honestly, I'm not 100% sure how I feel about it.

My only real thought is: I hope that every eligible Scott votes today, Yes or No, I just hope everyone's voice is heard.

Dude! Congrats!!

In answer to your question: you damn straight I was.

Nervous. Unprepared. Stressed. Happy. Anxious. Doubtful.   All words that were in my mind.  But that was four years ago, and now it seems silly that I was feeling that way! :)

I still wish the filters worked on this site's merch.  And how about a stance width range on boards? Short legs here... that stuff matters.

Soooo who's gonna start a new funny pic thread? TS is no Sierra. Sierra will never allow these errors to last so long.

Okay so apparently they've been together every minute so she hasn't been able to fill me in on the saga.  He did admit to it and apologized for it, apparently she was an ex or old classmate or something in HK.  She made him call her to cut the string but he didn't put it on speaker so who knows if he actually called her or one of his buddies.  But he has stopped being overprotective of his phone and no more waking up in the early hours to go to the restroom with his phone for a long duration so she's content with that.  So that's that, will there be a season 2 in the making?  Who knows.  LOL
Sessions sucks hairy monkey balls, the end.
