^ The current plan is to hit Caesar's Palace buffet for one of the dinners, the Paris Buffet for one of the brunches, and Gordon Ramsey's BurGR for one brunch, and Grand Lux Cafe inside Venetian for a dinner. We'll also see a Cirque de Solei show. Fill in the rest of the time by visiting the different Casinos like Paris, Bellagio, Venetian, NYNY, Caesar's Palace, etc.

Welcome kortyboy.
In this thread we post whatever thing that doesn't fit in other threads.
Random thoughts.

Like, I hope I can watch the new Avengers movies. But I'm sad that I probably will end up missing all the blockbuster movies.

There's a few through Middle TN and then when I spent some time in Florida they're pretty frequently found there as well if you ever pass through

^ the lift that broke down was certified before the season started, and was inspected daily. But, things can happen during day and no amount of inspection would be able to prevent it...

^^ That's some crazy ish.  I guess I take riding a chairlift for granted and things like a malfunction do not enter my mind.  I wonder if there's a testing and certification process to ensure safety?

I wouldn't expect to have to lose discs.

On another note, my son is big enough to come home next week!
Not my daughter yet, but she'll come home soon enough.

Wife is very happy about it.

Thanks, my son is doing better. He hasn't missed any school or other activities. But we're continuing treatment at home.

I think it's been 4 years of drought in Cali? Since we're next to the ocean, they should really find an efficient way to get water from the Pacific to be used for normal use. And all lawns should be made with drought resistant plants...no more grass that need to be watered so much...

Hope your son is doing better L80!

Considering the continuous years of drought Cali has been in, you would think they would regulate water usage more and pass out more fines.  To make things worse, the ice water bucket challenge did not help the case.  LOL

It's like traditional golf,  some of both helps.  A lot of both is best though.  LOL  But, overall more touch or finesse is prob best in disc golf because a lot of courses play partially through or totally through woods or wooded areas.  There are also plenty of wide open courses too.  Putting is the most important skill for sure.

I played my 1st round of disc golf since late Oct. yesterday.  I'm not too rusty.  I thought I would be super rusty...  I shot my average ( 55 (-3)) for league last yr on the course I played. Not too shabby for coming straight off the sofa/ slopes Wink

^ that's a pretty rough schedule to be on, but at least you'll get a full night's sleep instead of waking up every 2-3 hrs.

we were just in the emergency room sat night from about 6pm to 2am sunday for my son's asthma flare up. our 5yr old daughter hung in there at the hospital w/ her big brother and us..she was completely knocked out on the drive home. my son still coughed a bit sunday morning..but was much better after some prednisone and albuerol treatment for the rest of the day. not sure how he's doing this morning. i left the house before he woke up...

Since I'm back at work till the babies come home, it is hard to get to the hospital to see the babies. I have to get home, eat, and then come to NICU (where the incubators are) around 7:30 PM. Then 2 ~ 3 hours later go home. Whole cycle starts up again.

Wow, we don't even have the kids home yet, but we are so busy. This breastmilk pumping is crazy. Every 2~3 hours. Sleep is really hard.

So, as my first few diaper changes. My daughter pooped, so I was changing the diaper. I cleaned up and put on the diaper. It fit really well, so I was excited that I was getting a hold of this. Realized it fit well because it was the original diaper that the nurse had put on, and had poop in it. DOH. So I had to clean up again. And my son peed on me.
