Habitat is such a rewarding experience.

We actually got involved in 4 different non-profit organizations with multiple shifts in each this week. We might have close to 100 ppl participate office-wide. A few of our upper management ppl also signed up. Our VP was in my group. Very cool experience.

I noticed that the Epic pass is not offering spring benefits if you buy next season's pass... I think they used to do that...

I actually tried a cadbury egg a few years ago. It was way too sweet for even my sweet tooth.

On another note, my son is supposed to come home tomorrow from the NICU.

They had chocolate bars for $.24 at CVS. All you had to do was go to the reward card scanner coupon machine they had in there. It printed out a coupon for one chocolate bar. I bought a Whatchamacallit.

the bad thing about missing work because your 4 year old daughter is sick is having to watch 5 Tinkerbell movies.

Wow. So just like my wife, who doesn't gamble.
How did you like your trip? Wife says it was a great trip, but the extra gambling adds so much fun to the trip for me.

I actually don't gamble. So, it was just a lot of eating on the trip. Had Gordon Ramsey's BurGR Sunday night when I arrived, had a pastrami sandwich in New York New York for Monday lunch, Caesar's Palace Buchannel buffet for Monday dinner, Paris' buffet for Tuesday brunch, Planet Hollywood's Spice Kitchen buffet for Tuesday dinner, then just some Einstein Bro's bagels for Wednesday breakfast before leaving. We saw the Mystere show at Treasure Island, the street performers at the Venetian shops, took pictures with Olaf from Frozen, and a couple of minions on the strip, watched the fountain show at Bellagio and also visited the garden inside. We also wanted to see the volcano at Mirage..but it had technical difficulties..they played all the sounds, and there was smoke and lights..then when it was supposed to explode, it all stopped...

^ Yes.  I was planning a trip with 2 of my buddies and they could not agree on where to go - 1 wanted CO, the other wanted UT.  So we compromised and decided to go to both.  It made the trip more expensive (adding the flight from Denver to SLC and the airfare from SLC back to Chicago was more expensive than Denver to Chicago) but it's not something we get to do every day so I think we'll have a helluva time.  Just hope there's some snow left.

^ Sorry, but it was a possibility.

So random people stroll into your office to discuss insurance options with you?  People off the street without appointments?  I could not deal with that.

Just waiting to finish this week, flying out to CO and UT next week.

Wonder what was the white stuff on the woman's lip?  Possibly she just had relations with a man...?  Perhaps the homeless-looking man?

Wow, I had some nasty, gross customers today. One lady was talking and spit out this white stuff. She had it on her lip for awhile.... Then it disappeared... EWWWWWWW

Then to top the cake, this person comes in. He looks homeless, smells homeless, and talks like a homeless man. Nasty crap smell and holes in clothes and very very dirty everything. Ugh........... I had to light a candle, clean off the door handles, and pump up the air filtration system to the max. EWWWWWWWWWW

The Caesar's buffer is good but too bad they don't tell you that you have to pay extra whenever you want to eat there with the 24h pass.  Cry

We were in a buffet during the superbowl. Free mimosas and tons of dessert. TVs everywhere too. Was pretty good.
But the problem with running in for dessert is that most of the buffets have horrendous lines.

Last time i got the 24 hr pass, i made the mistake of stuffing myself at breakfast. Couldn't eat for the remainder of the day. But at the same time, I don't wanna spend most of my day eating at buffets.
