Congrats VT on the twins! You'll pick things up twice as fast but you'll probably get half of whatever little sleep a parent of one would get.

congrats on your upcoming baby. Is it a boy or girl?

Before this weekend rain, it was all nothing but dirt and ice.  LOL  And now we're back to sunny skies but are due for another wet weekend so I guess it's finally starting to feel like winter again for a brief while.  LOL

Congrats VT!

2zz - Thank you very much, we are actually having twins. A boy and a girl. Our first, and probably last children. Very, very life changing. I'm having a hard time imagining life with the two kids. My life that I've lived for the past 15 years will be changed totally. In a good way of course.

Lucky! You guys out there must be loving it! (minus the storm of course) Cali has been dry. We're expecting a couple of storms to rescue the season, I can't wait!

Yeah loving the snow for sure!  It has been awesome here since the new yr!  The really cold weather the past 2 weeks, esp this past weekend, isn't the greatest.  But, it's brought lake effect snow and kept the conditions really awesome!  More snow in the forecast this weekend and next week!
5" fell last night at my resort!  So, I'm off to sample some of the goodies Big smile

There wasn't much damage to my property. Only the drywall was damaged, and a small part. And insurance won't pay for the pipe getting fixed. Also I have a $2500 deductible. So sadly I can't rely on insurance on this one.

Our forecast was for 1 ~ 3 inches of snow for Saturday. We got 7+ inches.

Good thing we got our heater working on Friday.
Bad thing is we got it too late. Saturday morning I found water gushing through our garage.
@%#@%#$#$#$ water pipe burst. So we had no water, all the plumbers in the area were swamped from the cold. No one answered, when one finally called me back he said they would be able to call maybe Monday or Tuesday. Luckily he asked me where the water was coming from and said that it sounded like the pipe to the outdoor faucet. Everything clicked, there was a valve to shut off that particular part of the water. We had water in our home again. Still have a broken pipe though, and wet drywall. Luckily no other damage cause the leak was found pretty soon.

Uhg, this has been a troublesome month.

SOME DO! Like they that it personal if you don't show up. 4 hours out lecture is brutal, when I can look over the slides for 15 minutes and get an A in the class.

Yep some do care whether you show up or not but most really don't give a shite.

I left early last week and I got a email from my teacher saying she is disappointed in me. WHAT?! because I skipped 1 hour of class? Doing well in my career is way more important than an hour of lecture. Big Picture People.

Gung hey fat choi TS.

I haven't seen some of my cousins for along time. Got to spent some time with a couple of them during this Chinese new year. Good times...23 years since we last saw each other, kinda weird but in a good way.

Also to prove a point, the baby of the family is always gonna get treated with extra care...well like a baby...spoiled. I get the most for sure...Ooo yea.

I'll check it out when I get home. I only skimmed thru one of the videos on the Every Third Thursday. I guess it should be ETT?

Either way, thanks. Looks quite interesting.

Have you seen the "every 3rd Thursday" vids on their site?!?!?!  So cool some of the stuff they do.  One of them, the solar board, is a model they sell this season.
here's a link in case you haven't seen them:

http://signalsnowboards.com/shows/ett

edit*  was EET supposed to be ETT?  a little type-o ?  LOL I just thought of this..  I was thinking EET was a new model.  Then I saw the end of that link i posted^  and saw the "eet"

On a different note, the parts that are needed for my heater are being delayed till Friday. Fudgemuffin.

^ I use a lot of Mio or walmart's version of Mio. I also make a ton of fuzzy water with plain lime juice in it.  super good.

As far as Soda Stream's flavors are: Their diet red grapefruit is really good.  i've been drinking their red bull and their sugar free red bull for a while now as well.

as a side note: I refilled my last carburetor myself using Dry Ice.  Only a few bucks to re-fill. pretty cool!
