I hate road construction, it turns your commute into hell plus the funky smell of fresh asphalt is eww.

Speaking of fantasy football, what site do you use?

Thanks AMY!

I'm leaning going to some Burton EST style with a new Sherlock or Root to go with them.  I'll have to evaluate with what TS has in my size first of course.  I'm hoping for something with some reactivity for pow lines through the trees.

Anyone have XP with the Root?  That's kind of a wild card in my search.

got food poisoning friday night from either soup dumplings (doubtful) or the karaoke snack food (probable) that i had. got home at 4am...woke up at 6am shivering and shaking...made my way to the bathroom and puked out the last 10 hours of my life. feverish all day sat. wife got me pedialyte and nursed me back to health over the weekend. made it to work today but it was rough on the subway. the smells and rocking of the train did not help alleviate my nausea.

^meh... it's just a caffeine delivery system.  that's why it's so bitter.  if you're the type that has caffeine crashes, then you'll definitely crash on it.

I used to drink the crap out of it... then the price went through the roof.  it used to be 75 cents or a buck a bottle or so.  Perfect to throw in a pocket on the hill, or whatnot.  now it's up what, $4 a bottle?  I'll just buy a monster and drink half.  still cheaper, and it tastes better anyway.

That sucks! Hope the smell is all gone by this point.

Pretty much the same thing happened to my sister and her husband when they bought their house. They did some renos before moving and discovered 3 or 4 dead animals that got trapped between the walls and couldn't climb out. Now their dog keeps scratching this one part of the house and only makes me wonder what could be back there.

Yeah, there is chicken wire on the chimney so most animals can't get in.
And the dead carcass is still probably in there.

All the professionals said that there was no way to get to the carcass unless we actually tore apart the chimney. Somehow it got between the chimney and home. So technically it wasn't in the chimney. We had 4 different companies come out.

The following winter I made many, many fires in our fireplace to burn and dry out whatever was left.

It was a nightmare with the flies and smell. I used a vacuum cleaner to suck up them flies. They were really slow and big. Uhg so nasty. Still scares me anytime I see a fly in the house.

Assuming that they just put covered the chimney vents with plastic the carcass is still there and bones too. Sucks when they stuck in an inaccessible area. Well at least they dealt with tall the flies and stuff now he just has to wait for the bones to randomly fall out and/or disintegrate.

That is really nasty.  Do you have a screen/cap on the top of your chimney to keep the rodents out?  No one was able to find the rotting carcass and extract it?

We had flies in our house. 100s of them. I probably killed 40 ~ 50 a day for a week straight. Apparently an animal got stuck in between our fireplace chimney. Somewhere not accessibleat all and rotted there. The smell was TERRIBLE. We had chimney sweeps come in, 3 different rodent and bug guys. No one was able to do anything about it. Ended up sealing the fireplace with plastic and tape. Waited it out. No more flies now........ It sucked.
