I've always felt that electronic companies have better battery technology they could be using.  My last 3 phones had the same problem.  The battery is always the first thing to go.  Even when I kept the phone plugged in and charged as much as possible.  And most people would rather just buy a new phone instead of paying for an expensive new battery on their old phone.

sounds like you might be cutting the life of the battery short chillwill
really shouldn't be always having your battery in the charger. Although I hear ppl say that they have new tech that doesn't allow your battery to overcharge.

vending machine companies are complaining that the new $20 bill don't work in their 1000s of machines lol

a good amount of people do, or they wouldn't offer it. They only do the madness pass (open till 3:00 am) friday and sat. From what I hear a lot of kids above 21 do it. Lift lines aren't AS long, every inch of the hill is under the lights, and the bar is kept open till 2. You do the math.

I might be going with some friends this friday for it, but not sure yet. Will have to wait and see what the weather does. One cool thing is they close the lifts down around 9:30, and groom till 10:30ish so when madness starts you get "fresh" runs. Although, you have to remember, if it was warm during the day, then gets reasonably cold at night, it all turns to ice. Even after grooming.

Once again, this is all 2nd hand from friends, as I have never gone. But the wifey and I are planning on going to madness once this year. Tickets are reasonably cheap too.

Is this the $20 CAD with the plastic window? I ask because I don't think US Currency changed this year.. maybe I just don't work with enough cash.

First weekend the main park at my resort was opened. Had a bit of a slow start but definitely got back to where I ended last year. Had a blast though with all of the gnarly bails.

Yes, the new transparent polymer Canadian banknotes in circulation. The notes have had recognition problems with other machines, such as game token dispensers. The good news is that they are impervious to water damage when forgotten in my laundry.

Note to self:  Never order anything right around Christmas Day (or any other major shopping holiday) if you need it delivered quickly.  I ordered some pants on the 26th and they are finally being delivered at the end of the day today.  Good thing I wasn't needing them right away for boarding, otherwise I would have been SOL.

No biggie though.  It seems like the older I get, the more patient I become.  It's just cool to get packages delivered.

Ahhh lucky! 10 hour drive it may be, but I bet seeing the snow would be well worth it!
Im gonna get some action when I go up to Korea in around a week, mostly artificial snow and large crowds (big awesome resorts though!) but I really think Ill start weeping with happiness once I get my feet strapped in

When I used to have computer science classes, hw took that long to do and we have class every other day. I don't think they realize we have a life and work. Even projects took the entire semester Cry

^That is one massive backyard! Also must be nice to have a snowmobile at your disposal. Yeah I guess if I had something like that I wouldn't need to to go to a resort anymore as well.

Sorry to hear about the injury! Hope you're able to hit the slopes next year :).. or maybe do some wake boarding in the summer :)

Our mountains to the east have got a decent start to the year, but here in town we haven't got an inch. Hoping we get a few inches, enough to break my board out on some small quick hills and make some minor final tweaks to my bindings. But yeah, the temps here this week have been in the 40s. No snow for me!

No kidding and I'm an IT major. I had to take programming courses because IT has some relation with programming. Yeah, hw take super long because you gotta learn the language(s). Unless you're already fluent on them you'll be like me spending most of my time learning and coding. Make friends..lots of them. It'll help.

I miss those days. Even when high school wasn't the best memories. The fact that I had no bills, work, and responsibility. I could just ditch town for the weekend and no one would notice. Good ol' days

I hate going into my car the day after a trip, when my boots have had a chance to stink up the whole car, and having to drive with the windows down to get rid of the smell. I know I should just take my stinky boots out of the car, but it's hard when you're tired and lazy.
Shop smart... Shop S-Mart.

I miss those days. Even when high school wasn't the best memories. The fact that I had no bills, work, and responsibility. I could just ditch town for the weekend and no one would notice. Good ol' days
life is a funny thing, when in school, you dreaded that the day would end, so you can go make money. When you start working, even though l'm 25, l wish l was back in school, or retiring already LOL
