I like my wireless mouse! It turns itself off after not being used for 3-5 minutes (clicking turns it back on).. And i use it for my work lappy, soooooooo they buy the batteries :D .
I have a combo wireless Logitech mouse/keyboard that I bought a number of years ago. I have only had to replace the batteries once in those, so I've been pretty impressed with that. Unfortunately the wireless receiver is a pretty shitty design, (metal interferes with the signal), and its sensitive enough that if it's sitting on the table above a nail, it flat out won't work. Bah.

In unrelated news, I bought some binders yesterday :). Just got some black burton customs, but should go with my board real nicely (hell, should go with any board pretty nicely). Coulda got some Union Flites for $20 cheaper, but I liked the adjustability of the Burtons. Hooray for having all the gear I'll need for this winter!

Sit in a room, be quite, and do a packet of schoolwork was my in school suspension. I kind of enjoyed it because the teacher leaves you alone. Bad thing is that you don't get to hang out during lunch.

You think you have problems?

My family has always been batshit crazy.  Sugar Bowl is opening this weekend, but my excitement to ride is tempered by the fact that the foundation on my house seems to be sinking due to soil erosion and probably needs repairs costing tens of thousands of dollars.  That I don't have.

I will choke down a taco platter lunch and try to find a silver lining.

I'm talking to them.  I don't think so.  They're trying to weasel out of it.  May have to take advantage of the excellent free legal advice available on these forums.

We had a teacher who forced you to sing to his plant during detention.  I hated that plant.

cooperla: you should take a look at your insurance coverage to see if something like that would be covered...if it is, point it out to them, page and line.

sing to a plant? lol that's such a good punishment haha so damn funny
as per your dilemma, I'm pretty sure insurance should cover it, although you would have to pay for fixing the eroding soil part and the insurance should pay for the damages that it caused, ie your cracking foundation.
Try contacting Holmes they might be able to give u some insight and or assistance.

The analogy that the insurance ppl gave was, if your kitchen caught fire and it was found that the pot you used on the stove was culprit in causing the fire, they would cover the damages the pot caused and you would have to replace your pot out of ur own pocket..(now I'm second guessing myself.. was it the other way around?  insurance covered the pot? damn it!)

The soil erosion (if not stated as a possible hazzard during inspection) could also be counted as an act of god/nature/Flying Speghetti Monster.  Especially if it started or was made worse by a storm.

Unless it was caused by flooding, then you'd need some spare insurance.

Don't worry man, we'll get them.

Most insurance companies don't touch anything water related, flood related, or earthquake related. Definitely ask the questions, you might get an answer you can work with. I'm guessing probably not. I hate to say it, but you might be shtooked Sorry dude.

Well, I have extensive flood insurance because I live in a flood zone, but I think the issue will be what caused the foundation to sink.  If it's water damage (not a flood) I think I'm screwed.

I got a contractor coming to look at it tomorrow.  Maybe we can just chuck some spackle under there and see what happens.  Or p-tex.

Appreciate the advice guys.

Any word in the daily videos or elsewhere about whether TruSnow is going to do any Black Friday/Cyber Monday special sales? All the current Sales stuff seems to be the same from a year ago.

oh crap you are right that is an awesome question. i was thinking about holiday sales but forgot to think about this stuff going on sale. a good time to ask would be around the give away time so the staff will have the best answer for us. I wonder if evo and such will have some killer sales as well?

Always a bummer when you forget food in a jacket. My wife is notorious for leaving fun sized candy bars in her jackets. Usually doesn't do anything, but from time to time one will get smashed into a pocket and cause one hell of a mess. LOL

Totally. Except for chocolate that's smeared all over the inside. Make sure she only brings gummy based candies :)

If I could grow a nice, even beard I would. But my facial hair doesn't grow in evenly. It just looks like crap. Looks patchy and messy. Wacko

I second that. My facial hair grows so fast and patchy that I I have to shave daily.
Whenever I don't shave, I grow out a fu man chu. I'm asian BTW. Now, if I can only get my eyebrows to grow out long, I can start learning Kung Fu.
