Spent an hour to adjust my new binding to the boot. It's now perfect. Meanwhile, I'm reading the shameful news of Blue Mountain pushing back their opening day. Season here is off to a BAD start... All the while I'm listening to the song from this video:

I think it's the direction they face and the location in regards to the lake. I know they are very close to each other, but Mt. St. Louis Moonstone and Horseshoe are always open before Blue Mountain. For whatever reason, the snow for them sticks better, even though Blue Mountain has been firing their snowmaking guns for quite a long while. Also, strangely enough, the wind at Blue Mountain is always blowing north, so every year, you see the trails half-covered all in the same direction lol..

Haha, don't attempt to buy them clothes or shoes. Chances are they will think "it sucks". Or the fit will be off.

Stick with cash and/or gift cards to their favorite store.  That's what I gave my nephew last Christmas, gift cards. Can't go wrong.

Unless of course there is something specific they tell you they want.

I find it easy to pick stuff for people, you just have to know them pretty well.  Teens likes clothes too, it's not like they don't care about what they wear.

I hate it when the shipping changes hands to the USPS...the tracking becomes useless. I ordered something that was being shipped by UPS. After the USPS got it's hand on it, the expected shipping date was a range of an entire week. Basically, UPS doesn't know what the USPS will be doing with it and now long it's going to take them after it's off their trucks. So they have a huge range, and hope the USPS gets the item out within that range. I actually got the item a day earlier than the expected range..but I couldn't tell from the tracking...

This happens frequently, I've been told by a postal employee.  FedEx and USPS do a lot of shared shipping, with most of it not being seen. i.e. FedEx uses USPS to get it to another FedEx center with FedEx delivering it so the recipient never knows the USPS touched it. So don't pay extra in shipping to avoid the USPS, cuz there's a good chance they'll get their paws on it at some point anyway.

TS tracking number says it's in my hometown at least!

i wouldn't say graduating from school equals freedom. personally, i had a lot more free time when i was still in school. there's time between classes, there's summer, spring, and winter breaks. when you start working full time, you won't have those breaks any more. depending on where you work, you may only have about a week's worth of vacations per year. and not every employer is happy when you actually want to use those vacations days that you've earned. the advantage of working is that you don't have to study, or do homework (unless you're an attorney...). and you get money to do work. in school, you pay to do work..haha. but, work does not equal freedom...

^Yup. Work sucks more than school. Stay in school kids, cuz the girls don't get any hotter as the average age of your peers increases. Also, once you start your career, you are at the mercy of your schedule for the most part.

18 day old leftovers? I don't know about that.  Were they in the freezer at least?

I've eaten some pretty old leftovers, but I'm not sure what the oldest was.

I guess if it smells ok, then all is well. LOL
