They fooled me! I clicked on the email $99 snowboards link and when the page loaded it showed the Bluebird, which I've failed to win over the past several years. Got all excited, but then it turns out it's not $99.  Boo!

What in people's mind is the best snowboard trick:
1. The Method?

3. Back-flip / Front-flip

I got my second trip of the season in today. Consciously sought a lot more powder than in previous trips. Feelin a lot more confident. Also made 10 runs down the mountainside today.. beats my previous record by a factor of 2! B-)

My K2 boots with the boa system died today. I only put like 30 days on them and they decided to crap out on me. I was told then have life-time warrenty...lets put that to the test!

Im really into big air Backside 180's (#5) So sick to see the super slow rotation. A lot of style can be added to it too.

My mountain is renting an airbag for the weekend and I'm gonna be hitting it on Sunday. I was checking out the jump yesterday and it looks pretty massive but way too poppy. I really hope that they clean it up and make less of a lip by then.

I know some people who will buy things on trips to Nevada just to save on sales taxes.  Tho that's only about 2.5% difference.

WAT? how do you have your own snow machine? Are they expensive?

They're easy to make, visit  snowathome.com for free plans.  The guns cost me about 120 (60 for the nozzles, 60 for all the other brass fittings), the electric pressure washer was 100 (harbor freight special), and the compressor was 140.  Then you've got hoses (air and water).  I probably have a little over $400 wrapped up into it.  Totally worth it.  I have a ton of snow out back right now.  I'll post some pics in a bit.  We've got about 6" of natural (which compacts to about nothing) and about a foot of my snow (which compacts to about 9"). 

On the Amtrak to winter park right now, sittin in Denver waiting....cant wait

^What about the electric bill? I imagine that must be the primary expense.

It's Saturday and I got my late xmas gift (Helmet) and already put on my Contour helmet mount. Excited to get on with this road trip we've been planning for a couple months now.

It's literally been a year since I've been on the snow with a board.  =/   This is killin me. Hopefully by next week I'll be able to go to a resort.

She is really good for a girl, she does rails and stylish grabs but missed all last season of the mountain. Im trying to get her to go up with me next week.
