They fooled me! I clicked on the email $99 snowboards link and when the page loaded it showed the Bluebird, which I've failed to win over the past several years. Got all excited, but then it turns out it's not $99.  Boo!

1. The Method?
2. Double Cork 1260
3. Back-flip / Front-flip
4. Double cork Rodeo 1080
5. Backide 180

Go for it! That way you're covered if you still feel like hell... but if you feel better, you can hit the slopes :D

I got my second trip of the season in today. Consciously sought a lot more powder than in previous trips. Feelin a lot more confident. Also made 10 runs down the mountainside today.. beats my previous record by a factor of 2! B-)

My mountain is renting an airbag for the weekend and I'm gonna be hitting it on Sunday. I was checking out the jump yesterday and it looks pretty massive but way too poppy. I really hope that they clean it up and make less of a lip by then.

That sucks dude! I don't know how well K2 stands by their warranties, but being as how they've grown to be so big, I would assume a good warranty policy would be a factor in that! Good luck!

What broke, the boot or the BOA system?  BOA has life time warranty replacements with free shipping mind you, but I don't know about K2 warranty on boots.  So if it is just the BOA that broke then just go to the BOA website and order your replacements.  You might want to order a couple, they're free anyways.

Nope, you just have to know which knob design you have by matching up your knob with the pictured ones on the site and wire length which depends on your boot size.

I know some people who will buy things on trips to Nevada just to save on sales taxes.  Tho that's only about 2.5% difference.

So last night around 1:30 I was woke up by my gate alarm going off.  When I looked out front there was a firetruck in front of my house.  Went to the back, opened the window and saw two firemen unplugging my snowgun (the way they did it would have froze up all my equipmentAngry).  They said they had numerous calls about a huge smoke cloud hanging in the air over on the main road.....a cloud that was coming from my yard.  It was a really big cloud that was just sitting in the area, looked a lot like a hill blowing snow.  They said they couldn't tell me not to do it but that maybe I should only blow snow during the day.  I guess they don't know about the wet bulb temp (night time makes the best snow).
Despite possibly causing a few more calls, I turned it back on.  I love the FD, but dude I don't think breaking into someones yard and possibly damaging their property to put out snow is in their job description.

Damn, you weren't able to get that day off even as an unpaid? That's no way to end 2012. Looks like I'll have to drink for both you and Angry. lol

They're easy to make, visit  snowathome.com for free plans.  The guns cost me about 120 (60 for the nozzles, 60 for all the other brass fittings), the electric pressure washer was 100 (harbor freight special), and the compressor was 140.  Then you've got hoses (air and water).  I probably have a little over $400 wrapped up into it.  Totally worth it.  I have a ton of snow out back right now.  I'll post some pics in a bit.  We've got about 6" of natural (which compacts to about nothing) and about a foot of my snow (which compacts to about 9").

WAT? how do you have your own snow machine? Are they expensive?
They're easy to make, visit  snowathome.com for free plans.  The guns cost me about 120 (60 for the nozzles, 60 for all the other brass fittings), the electric pressure washer was 100 (harbor freight special), and the compressor was 140.  Then you've got hoses (air and water).  I probably have a little over $400 wrapped up into it.  Totally worth it.  I have a ton of snow out back right now.  I'll post some pics in a bit.  We've got about 6" of natural (which compacts to about nothing) and about a foot of my snow (which compacts to about 9").

DUDe that is totally awesome! I would definitely make that but how well does that work to fill up a hill in say your backyard if you had no snow at all to begin with?

^What about the electric bill? I imagine that must be the primary expense.

We're getting rain on right now too, but maybe there's snow on the local mountains though which would only like last a day before the sun comes out and melts it all away.

Thats a rough year. My friend hasnt been up in a year because of financial issues and its killing her. She is really good for a girl, she does rails and stylish grabs but missed all last season of the mountain. Im trying to get her to go up with me next week.

Same thing with my friend, except you gotta add getting preggo into the mix and having a premature baby by 3 months or so.
