^ As with most books made into movies the book was much better than the movie.  I really didn't care for the actor (Keith Gordon) they selected to play the main character (Arnie Cunningham) who also played Rodney Dangerfield's son in Back to School (where he was annoying again).  But overall it was a pretty good adaptation from the book.

That looks like a hell of a lot of work!

It's been a very nice weekend around here. Friday was in the 50s, which was great but I didn't make the best of it by breaking the grill out :(. Lounging for the moment til i head to a friend's house to watch the game :). Should be a good day! Then back to the daily grind tomorrow :(

Isn't that what SuperBowl is all about?! haha. I'm feelin a bit rough this morning, though I did have a couple glasses of water prior to conking out for the night. It's the one factor keepin me feelin like a human today haha.

I have my computer science class today, but I think I'm gonna bail early. We're 5 weeks into the class and it's' all been review. Today will be no different, and my girl has a volleyball game tonight that I'm gonna try to watch :)

I didn't find the commercial racist.  Imitation is the highest form of flattery.  It's not like they were using a Jamaican accent in a mocking way.  Besides, Jamaican is not a race, it's a nationality. 

People are too PC nowadays.  Lighten up.

So, the Dodge commercial with the usage of Paul Harvey about Farmers was freaking sweet....not so much the Dodge part of it, but the rest. I didn't see the GoPro commercial. Everything else sucked.

The book was really good. One of the few S. King books where it doesn't seem like he got bored with it halfway through writing it.

Would have to agree with ya man. Some people are all pissed because they didn't use a "real" Jamaican in the commercial.

Not really the point. The point was the car is so good it will make anyone that experiences it ridiculously happy.  VW is just merely implying that all Jamaicans are happy. Which from my almost 2 years of living there is very close to spot on. Kind of. LOL
