It's a friend's last day in the office today. We're all going out for drinks after work. I wish it were my last day.

its funny cuz l bought a laptop, they essentially had a upgrade for 15, with a rebate of 15. Even then l said no

Had 2 Rockstar energy drinks today...and now I feel like poo. ugh.

So I rode Brighton for the first time today.  It was pretty cool.  The jumps are so much better than the ones on my home mountain it's not even funny.  And I had free pizza for dinner last night.

I love being able to work over and take off days too. I want to work over this whole week to take off early again.

I'm going to go snowboarding for the President's Day weekend. :D

Fishing trip today. Hope I reel in a trophy fish.

Getting my fix of instant noodles today followed by Costco brownies. I love being on vacation.

Yesterday I had a starbucks chai tea, a rockstar, a vitaminwater energy, and two 12oz redbulls. I think my heart did a back flip because I feel absolutely terrible today.

It felt so incredible to be back out on the mountain after being sick for weeks!!! ...makes me feel alive again.

^ Dammmmnnnnn, sorry to hear that.  Hope the wifey is feeling better soon.  Rest up, glad you made it home alive.  There were lots of accidents (some were 20+ vehicles) and expressway closings in these parts.

I've hit the slopes three times since last Saturday. Thursday was great. Hit up half-price ticket day at Anthony Lakes with a couple friends and my GF. She really enjoyed the mountain. My friends want to go again next weekend, but I've spent way too much money over the past few days, so unless they get a foot or more of fresh snow to play around in, I think I'll have to pass.

Today, much of the same group (missing one person, but gained two others) hit up Bluewood. Temps were quite warm, and it was raining much of the day. The runs are considerably narrower than the slopes I've previously visited, (good for bombing down, but not so much for my gf, still trying to develop a basic maneuvering skill set). It was her and my first time there, thus I was unfamiliar with the layout. She was following me for much of the day, and I took a wrong turn, and wound up on what seemed to be a XC skiing trail. I didnt think she had followed, so I cut down on a narrow path through some trees to get back to the main path, hoping to meet up with her on the trail. I didn't see her up path, or down below so i waited where I was for 10 minutes. I didn't hear anything in that time, so I thought she might have just progressed down the path beyond where I could see. Unfortunately I reached the lift and did not run into her. I waited at the lift for 25-30 minutes, hoping I'd find a friend who might have seen her, but they had gone to the car for some food. I was about to return up the lift to go find her, but finally she appeared.
As it turns out, she had followed me down that narrow path, and hadn't seen that I cut through the trees. She continued on the path for at least a quarter mile trying to find me. Eventually she happened upon a different run, and went down that to the lift. It was a really scary half-hour for both of us, and it didn't help that she was crying when we found each other :( . I let her lead the way the rest of the day, and everything went very enjoyably, but it was certainly a lesson-learning day for me.
