It's a friend's last day in the office today. We're all going out for drinks after work. I wish it were my last day.

So give your 2 cents here instead of that thread, I'm curious to see if you agree with me that zakk is everyone's favorite snowboarder.

Regarding working from home, I decided to sleep in today and work from home.  Never a problem, especially when I put in many hours on the weekends and after work when needed.

So you could end up outsourcing your job to 3rd world countries at like 10% of your pay like that one guy who got caught.  LOL

So at work, 2 popo cars pulled up and the girls at the street corner went running.  Who knew hefty girls in heels could run so fast!  LOL

Do you also have Office 2013? Horrible color scheme and everything just doesnt look right. My eyes hurt after an hour looking at it. MS needs to get on the customization side of this for us end users.

So I rode Brighton for the first time today.  It was pretty cool.  The jumps are so much better than the ones on my home mountain it's not even funny.  And I had free pizza for dinner last night.

Just got back from doing some shopping.  Picked up some shorts.

The good news, I went from a size 38 to a 36.  With a little room to spare even.

Once I quit eating all sugar and all wheat, I have been dropping body fat.

Only bad part is most of my clothes are too big now.

Yeah, my bro cut out carb, red meat and alcohol out of his diet and the dude slimmed down like crazy.  Way to go dude!  Maybe your wardrobe needed a make over to begin with plus it's president sale weekend so it must be a sign.  LOL

Haha, thank you.  Yeah, luckily I haven't been clothes shopping in a while. With the acception of a shirt here and there.  So thankfully, I'm not having to replace a bunch of new stuff.

Cool your bro slimmed down, good for him.  I don't think I would ever stop eating red meat. I love steak way too much.  I think I could eat some form of beef everyday. LOL

And luckily, when I drink alcohol, I never eat...So even though I'm getting calories from the alcohol, I'm not getting any from food.  So it kind of works out.  At least that's how I justify it, lol.

Just spent 13 and a half hours in a car. The wife got food poisoning at about hour 2. Spent the drive with her puking out the window about every 20 to 30 miles. She even managed to puke in the car and on me! How fantastic. Last three hours were spent going about 50mph on snow covered highways with a nice little layer of black ice under them, mixed with a few mile or so jaunts of whiteouts. All this on a single ham sandwich and 3 hours of sleep. Me things I shall get blackout now while the wife sleeps it off.

Thanks dude. Yeah, it was a pretty damn epic drive home LOL
Probably second worst driving experience of my life. Riding all last week was pretty damn good though. Wish we would of been up in VT the day after the storm, but at least there was good coverage around the hill.

Glad ya made it home safe, BMW; sorry it was under such miserable conditions!

I've hit the slopes three times since last Saturday. Thursday was great. Hit up half-price ticket day at Anthony Lakes with a couple friends and my GF. She really enjoyed the mountain. My friends want to go again next weekend, but I've spent way too much money over the past few days, so unless they get a foot or more of fresh snow to play around in, I think I'll have to pass.

Today, much of the same group (missing one person, but gained two others) hit up Bluewood. Temps were quite warm, and it was raining much of the day. The runs are considerably narrower than the slopes I've previously visited, (good for bombing down, but not so much for my gf, still trying to develop a basic maneuvering skill set). It was her and my first time there, thus I was unfamiliar with the layout. She was following me for much of the day, and I took a wrong turn, and wound up on what seemed to be a XC skiing trail. I didnt think she had followed, so I cut down on a narrow path through some trees to get back to the main path, hoping to meet up with her on the trail. I didn't see her up path, or down below so i waited where I was for 10 minutes. I didn't hear anything in that time, so I thought she might have just progressed down the path beyond where I could see. Unfortunately I reached the lift and did not run into her. I waited at the lift for 25-30 minutes, hoping I'd find a friend who might have seen her, but they had gone to the car for some food. I was about to return up the lift to go find her, but finally she appeared.
As it turns out, she had followed me down that narrow path, and hadn't seen that I cut through the trees. She continued on the path for at least a quarter mile trying to find me. Eventually she happened upon a different run, and went down that to the lift. It was a really scary half-hour for both of us, and it didn't help that she was crying when we found each other :( . I let her lead the way the rest of the day, and everything went very enjoyably, but it was certainly a lesson-learning day for me.
