Had to return more stuff today. That's the one thing that sucks about buying stuff online. You can find some killer deals, but it might not fit or work out for you.
I guess after you factor in the cost of returning stuff, the time it takes to get it shipped to you, and the time it takes to return it, You would be better off paying more at your local shop and getting it done right the first time. lol |

We got an AWESOME deal on lift tix from a friend ($25 each), who had purchased a set but is not able to use em. It's not a terribly distant trip from here, (3 hours or so), but long enough that we didn't wanna make a day trip of it. So we're gonna go up friday evening after work, lodging in a town about 20 miles from the mountain. We'll go boarding Sat/Sun. They do have condos for rent literally across the street from the lift, but they're $200/nt (min 2-nt stay) and rather outdated; the place 20 mins away is 1/3 the price, and has restaurants in walking distance. WIN! [EDIT] I refused to watch the regurgitated jokes of Hangover 2. Absolutely won't be watchin H3.[/EDIT] |

I actually will buy clothes online, had to for a dress for a wedding in 2 weeks. Bought 4 dresses & keeping 2 of them. LOL I hate doing returns but whatevs.

You'll want to rent gear starting out anyway, just in case you don't want to stick with it...you'll be out less money in the long run.

I just got back from Wicked in OC. It was good. I've seen it before at this same place. The first time was better. Same cast, but the first time I saw it, they sang a little better. This time, they had sound/tech difficulties. There was a few times where the mic went out, so that was a lil annoying when it happened about 4 times, plus a really long time during a Fiero's solo.

My buddy got passes for Beaver Creek for this weekend for us and 4 more friends, so I'll bite the bullet and deal with the crowds. Staying at his in-law's condo in Vail, should be a helluva weekend. Two of the guys are hard-core partiers so I don't expect them to wake up early on Saturday morning, we'll see them get out on the slopes around lunch time.

i didn't go to the backside all day..so maybe there's some left there..haha..i was at martis (lookout mountain) half the day..and on the areas off the east ridge after lunch. most of martis was pretty bumpy...the east side was much smoother and softer and powdery-er. have fun!
