Had some questions about a longboard I was going to buy and man, the customer service at Muir Skate is unbelievable. Scott Lembach answers all emails personally and gives good insight. He even told me he'd hook me up with some free grip tape if I leave a message about it in the comment section at checkout, Definitely going to be going to Muir in the future just for that service.

Sad to hear James Gandolfini died at 51 from a heart attack. Went out like a true Italian.

That's awesome, steeze. I love hearing good stories about customer service. They do seem to be getting and fewer and farther between, though. I had a great experience with the customer service at Forum (RIP), but that isn't going to help anyone these days.

Yeah, it was great to see such great service on Scott's part there. The dude is the owner and manager and he still takes the time to get back to everyone himself. Says a lot about the company he's running. We exchanged several emails all of which he responded in less than an hour, some took him only ten minutes. I've never experienced service like that before.

George Zimmerman is going to collect $250,000/year for the next 4 years in exchange for the Mens Warehouse using his image and likeness.  Not a bad deal considering he doesn't have to do anything now.

So wierd when you start a company, it gets big, it gets a board, the board fires you.  You get axed by your own company.  that's nucking futs.

I love the Dos Equis guy pairing idea.  That's a winner.

Very sad to hear of his passing.  Obviously, Tony Soprano is one of the all time great characters,  but Gandolfini was quite a good character actor.

Unless he lives a life of opulence then 250k a year is not enough to finance his lifestyle for 4 years.  LOL

I got called into work on my day off.  And had to go to an employee meeting on the other day off.

Oh well, at least my check will be decent.

Just got back from the doctor. I made a video of me being bored in the patient room waiting for the good doctor. Playing with inflatable arm thing, those nostril/ear inspection things with lights, and dressed up in some black cloak I found like it was a hijab, and sticking tubes in my nostrils.
