I have a friend who lives up there and thought he was lying at first. Then I saw it on the news and made sure to know where my winters were kept just in case it crept closer to the city.

More like a bunch of loud and angry mainland Chinese people, but I didn't stay the night so who knows how the night life is in Macau.

Well also the price would also be a determining factor in which "Vegas" you would go to.  LOL

maccau is different atmosphere though. ALOT of casinos, but it is spread out, not like vagas where it is concentrated.

I don't think I would want to be in a place with a high concentration of bad-mannered, unethical, and loud Chinese mainlanders. If that's not bad enough, at a place unleashing their worst behavior...Thumbs Down

Macau is nothing like vegas! Its just a lot of Chinese people being super serious about gambling. No free drinks on the floor. Also the partying scene isnt anywhere close to Vegas. Its just strictly for gambling.

Lots of places all across the Niagara Escarpment received snowfall. Negligible, really. All I care about is a snowy season...

Yeah, you have to take shuttle buses to go around each casino but people lack common courtesy and cut in line like nobody's there but luckily the buses come and go very often.  I think as a tourist, the best reason to go to Macau is for the market street for the free beef jerky samples.  LOL

Much to my surprise several people knew we were dressed as Lloyd Dobler and Diane Court.  I guess my girlfriend wins that bet.

It still baffles me that Vegas would get any snow.  LOL  I guess they get enough for them to have that little ski resort nearby.

I am Asian...my ancestors were from China at one point. I consider myself Taiwanese-American. I don't associate myself with China or the Chinese people. Not when they perform routine missle practices toward the country of my birth.

I do recall like at least 2 Vegas riders on the forum, their season is probably slush days throughout.  I can't imagine riding in that humidity and heat.  LOL

Finally got a new wireless adaptor and set up a 802.11n on 5 GHz band. Speeds are better, but the signal strength and consistency is fantastic! Up to now, my phone had faster wi-fi than my computer >_>

In other news, here is some Japanese riding. I'm not into the whole spinny ballerina look of some of their wishy-washy riding, but these guys are fleet-footed for sure, so agile and yet they look like they could ride with their hands in their pockets.

Snowed in Tahoe today, but just looked and saw that it'll be back up in the 60s during the day, so still too soon to build a base I guess.
