I think the local supermarkets have been selling gingerbread and other Christmas treats for at least the last month already. It's nuts!

random, but in response to the black friday comment

firestone had a black friday sale last year. buy two tires get two free. it's a really good deal. it's really only about a 40% discount because they make you buy a few extra things to get the deal but still a great price. hope they do it again this year

Must be box, no?

In other non-news, thesis almost ready. Very scary to finally submit it. Keeping fingers crossed that the copy shop can handle everything nicely tomorrow.

That's a pretty good idea. Hadn't thought about having a live one.

The other Christmas scent that's going to be awesome is oranges and cloves. Plus cookies. Yum!

Installed my roof rack and snowboard carrier tonight at work. Need to do a few small adjustments tomorrow morning and I'm ready to roll. Very little wind noise, surprisingly. By contrast, my buddy's roof rack would always howl last year.

Also, happy belated birthday to keljai! Clap

i feel that cyber monday gets bigger deals than black friday. I know some stores in my local mall take the sale/clearance items and mark them back original price and then on black friday mark it down again to slightly below the price its sitting for in clearance right now. Shady.

I'm actually surprised they haven't fixed the bug of quoting people yet. I haven't been active on the forum for a long time. Just check in once in a while and rarely posting. But it seems that every time i try to quote someone, it always quotes the last person.

^ Like what?  It usually takes me a while to do anything new.  Last year I was able to pull a couple 360's my first day, about the level I ended the season at.  Otherwise, I only improved incrementally in terms of tricks over the season, like throwing them off of different features.

Didn't the City Council already strip him of most of his power?  What does it take to boot the mayor out of office?

I think they should allow him to stay in office, he's very entertaining.  Maybe get a video crew to follow him around for some reality TV.  Dude knows how to party.

I like that Toronto is being promoted but not in this fashion. I wonder how much more footage is out there waiting to surface? I especially like the interview of his brother denying any possibility of his drinking problem when there's clearly a bottle of grey goose in the background.

LOL! Words I live by too, but no vids from this weekend. 2 weekends ago (first trip of season) I pretty much got caught up to speed on what I was doing last season i.e. fs 5, fs 3. But this weekend I threw a stalled bs 1, bs 3 and switch 1 onto a down rail :)

I want to focus a lot more on my jib game since its so much weaker than my jumping. I just like that I'm having a good start and not holding myself back by saying, its early season and don't get hurt. (watch in 2 weeks i update with a season ending injury lol).

Someone grab the Aloe... cause that was a burn!

In other news... we have some auditors in the office this week randomly pulling client files to make sure we're not messing things up.  all good, but still nerve racking...

the files they pulled from me were some ofm y most cut and dry cases, mostly successful too.  at least for now... welcome relief.

^ One of my responsibilities is auditing manufacturing software installations... the responsibility I like the least.  The people working in the plant dread seeing me when I'm performing an audit, they know they have to answer endless questions - sometimes the same question asked different ways, pull out documentation, show proof they are performing internal audits, etc.  It's a pain in the ass for all involved but it's quite lucrative.  Generally we make more on a 2 week audit than a 2 week upgrade although installations with migration are still the biggest money-maker.

After talking about auditing... I need a beer.

I enjoyed it but it was a bit too real for me. Still single, it was a bit of an awakening to what parts of marriage can be like.
