It is quite bizarre that a Boeing 777 can disappear without a trace.

There's only one explanation to the disappearance of a 777.

If a plane flies low enough, it won't show on the radar.

^^^ Aliens seem like the most logical explanation at this point.
I mostly get CNN updates on my phone, but I guess they are checking some flight simulator at the pilot's house?

And have 26 countries check 3million sq miles (approx the size of the US) for the a/c. Search area just seems to keep growing by the day. Pretty soon we'll be asked to look in our backyards for a 777.

What baffles me is that the plane supposedly flew over Malaysian territory and was detected by the military radars...and the military didn't do anything? If an unidentified plane few near the US, I'm sure the Air Force would have sent up a couple of F16s... Anybody can go and bomb Malaysia today and the military will watch it fly in..drop a few bombs..and fly away..and have no idea who/what hit them and where they went... Epic fail...Dead

Isn't there a bunch of satellites taking pictures 24/7 all around the world so shouldn't there be satellite images to trace it back to where it disappeared to?

I read an article that said officials are trying to recover deleted Flight Simulator files from the pilot's home PC.  Still amazes me a plane that size can just simply disappear without a trace.

What about 9/11, Two planes came into the U.S. Nothing was done until it was too late.

What do you mean came into the US? They were all domestic flights.

And planes deviate from their flight path all the time doesn't mean the panic button should be pushed. They do this if they come across inclement weather changes or mechanical problems. Not to mention, there are thousands of flights happening simultaneously so you can't expect them all to be monitored.

I think you know what he meant to say and actually it was noticed and they were trying to contact the 2 planes but obviously the hijackers weren't responding to their calls.  They sent out jets to locate the planes but it was too late.  That's what I heard from watching those 9/11 documentaries and stuff.

Check this out for US Air Force deployments on 9/11:

Yes, the response was too late. But they had a response...Malaysia..just let the plane fly right by and had no response...

Well it's all speculation until they find what was deleted off the flight sim hard drive. Then hopefully things will fall into place and find out what happened to that 777.

First day at work in 2.5 months since my snowboard injury. Cliffs notes of the day:
-work has been dreadfully slow
-missing a lot of tools, a few particularly expensive ones
-was put on a high-difficulty job that pays poorly
-no lunch
-made about made about $16 in 5 hours of work
-thug life.
