Done riding for the year, but I started off the skate season well by landing my first backside tailslide yesterday on a ledge. I hope to get them down well.

Based on the lack of snow in CA this season I think you should take advantage of the upcoming snowfall and take next week off from work.  Tell the boss you developed a severe case of viral diarrhea, he/she will not want you in the office.

Whereas we got our worse.  LOL  This summer drought is gonna be even worse as a result.  We didn't really have a winter, it was pretty much sunny throughout.

I keep hearing people talk about 'last winter' like it was some mythical season with non-stop snow and bluebird every day. And now it's the warmest winter in 100 years. Should've come a year earlier...

What is this thing you call "uninterrupted sleep"?  Not sure what the reason is but I cannot remember the last time I had a night of uninterrupted sleep.  Seems like I wake up almost every morning at 3:00am, 3:30am, 4:00am and so on.  Doesn't matter if I'm home or on the road.  My doctor prescribed a sleep aid, all that did was make me fall asleep quicker but did not give me a full night of uninterrupted sleep.

^ That's the worst...

I read years ago in Men's Health a little trick that has really helped me.  Simply, when you wake up in the middle of the night. Don't look at the clock.  I don't even have one in my line of site anymore (and haven't for 8 or so years now).  When you look at the clock, it's easy to go "i can still get x hours of sleep." and it psychs you out.

give it a try, can't hurt anything!

My friend's little brother went to sleep one night and never woke up.  He was only like 22 years old and didn't do drugs.  Imagine being his mother at that moment, going into his room to wake him up only to find that her youngest son is dead.
