Sierrasnowboard is the best!

Being a two-time winner of the 3pm giveaway (most recently 10/2), I thought it's time I should thank Sierrasnowboard for building and supporting the snowboard and ski community. You guys are a great asset for the sport and your customer service and loyalty are unmatched!

Wow, really? You have just as much of a chance as he does, it's all random, there's nothing unfair. Also he was ineligible to win for 3 months after he first won.

congrats, but there should be a limit.  Once you win, your name should be taken off the list for a year or something.

I've been a member as long as you, have logged in as much, have posted significantly more and haven't won once...hell, I was barely able to get my 1500 point coupon code exchanged

Never heard of the other giveaways, what other kinds of contests are there?

Her point is that there are chances for you to win instead of complain and state how long you've been a member and how many posts you've had. Your odds can be MUCH higher. You actually have the opportunity to take your winning destiny in your own hands with the contests.

The most recent on was on during the second week of February (I believe) and it was a facebook picture one. All you had to do was tag Sierrasnowboad in your facebook pic, and the best on got chosen. The winner of that one (I am 98% sure, please someone correct me if I am wrong) was


They have also did a best snowboarding action photo in Novemberish. The two I could quickly find in the forum were the Snow Dance and Slow Picture ones.   But there have been others...

Sierra Snowboard IS the best! The things Sierra has given me, like the friendships I've formed and my renewed interest and love for a sport that I was drifting away from, far surpass a free snowboard. Don't get me wrong, it is great to win! But it is just the cherry on top. If you don't take advantage of all the other things Sierra has to offer (including their phenomenal discounts), then you really are missing out.

Sierra is the worst.  Always offering great deals and enticing me to buy stuff.  Damn you Sierra! Damn you!  Stupid buy one get one 50% off sales. 

Don't get me wrong, Sierra has awesome deals, but the real reason to come here is the community.  The reviews, the how-to's, the advice from experienced riders.  That's the real strength.  As much as I'd like to win some free stuff, I can't complain about it.  It's not like Sierra owes me a board because I spend a bunch of time talking trash in the forums.  After all, they're already doing me a favor by providing the site.  Besides, who else gives away a couple free boards a day.

Forgot one more thing great customer service agents here always helping and quick reponse. The free shipping over $100 is nice and return policy is great too. I have issues with size (in between sizes) so I always order med and large of each item especially when all brand seem to be different in sizes too.

Thats impressive that you have won two boards, just proves it's better to be lucky than skilled.

I won on my first time.

I scored a Sierra V-spot for $99.  Even though I haven't WON a board, I've joined a great community of snowboarding fans.  I am totally stoked to try out the V-spot next year and do my review.  I am intent on making this community a better place. 

Sierra is great. They dont only have low prices but really do a lot for the snowboard community. Thanks Sierra keep up the great work

If it weren't for Sierra, I wouldn't be snowboarding today. I my fiance snowboarding on a whim b/c her parents were getting divorced, and we had a terrible time. Rental gear was garbage, we didn't have proper clothing, and we arrived and left during a blizzard (our 1st time driving in snow). Two weeks later I won a snowboard and bought a bunch of gear form Sierra. Then we taught ourselves how to ride and we've been at it ever since. We're moving to Denver next summer to be closer to the mountains since we're 4+ hours each way from resorts now.

Yes, it is a sad story. But, snowboarding is the only sport that we do together, so that means spending more time together doing something we love instead of apart. We would've likely never even though about moving to Denver if not for snowboarding.
