If you had the chance to stay at 1 of the following resorts. Which 1 would it be?
Whistler, Revelstoke, Banff, Big White, Silver Star?

I'm going to Whistler soon. What are everyone's thoughts on it? Do they have a pretty good snowboard park built by early December?

My favorite place in Canada was definitely Mount Tremblant in Quebec. The city was awesome and so was the mountain.

Depends on your riding style, and what time of season your going there.
Whistler - Huge, But gets snow later then the other resorts. Revelstoke - Hella powder, Can be very sticky snow at times. Nice steep runs, with 6t thousand feet of vertical drop. Not a very nice town tho, IMO. Banff - Well you get access to 3 different resorts here. Sunshine, Louise, Nor... Nicest skiing of them is Sunshine. Very nice town. These mountains are not great for powder and crazy terrain tho. Big White - One of my fav resorts. Lots of terrain/runs. Some of the best powder you will find. Very decent terrain park. Very nice resort. Silver Star - Never gone there, as I've been told over and over again that... If im going to drive that far, just to go to Big White cuz Silver Star isnt as good, but just as far. |

Whistler rocks, but I'm biased because it's my 'local' resort. Peak to Peak gondola makes accessing both Whistler & Blackcomb in a single day possible - used to take too much time to get down one mountain and back up the other. Snow gets better later in the year, as others have said, but still worth a trip in mid December. Nightlife in Whistler is great too. |

Ya one of the problems that I had with Tremblant was because it was a North side and a South side, it was a pain to get from one to the other so it was basically doing one for a while and then the other for a while

I've spent a grand total of about 7 months at Whistler, don't feel the need to go anywhere else.
