Hey guys, me and a few of my buddies are planning to go up to Vermont this winter break (around dec.24-jan 3rd?)
since we all don't have a job, we are looking for cheap rates on rooms. we are planning to stay for a week. can one of you vermont locals recommend us a good and cheap place to stay? thanks a bunch :D |

yeah man ... VT is a big place ... where are you thinking? Southern/Northern,

I've been to Killington and Stowe this season. Although this is my first season, Stowe is definitely my favorite mountain. I stayed at the Commodores Inn. It wasn't bad at all, had a all-you-can-eat prime rib buffet for dinner. YUM!

The Mountaineer Inn is probably the cheapest hotel on the Stowe access road.
Decent with a large hot tub and indoor swimming pool. I also think all
rooms have a patio/balcony...Feels more like a dormitory but you're
there for the riding..

I've recently gone to jay peak. They have mountain side townhouses but they may be a bit expensive. Very nice though!

Jay peak was pretty solid and they had good ski and stay packages at their brand new Tram House Lodge.
