Mike Says: Those who follow snowboarding personalities definitely understand what the Burton Jussi is all about. Jussi Oksanen is the premier professional snowboarder to look out for in the latest videos. His board is designed to help any snowboarder ride diverse terrain with as much power and style as Jussi himself. The Burton Jussi is an expert level board for riders who push themselves in the park, in the backcountry and in life. The best as*et of the Jussi is its longevity. The Jussi will stand many days of abuse during the season. Of course the Jussi is backed with Burton's newest and best technology, which helps it to be strong and durable. Moreover, the Burton Jussi comes in two distinct sizes. The 154 cm is park and rail friendly, while the 159 cm is better for big jumps and backcountry. No matter which size you buy, this board will please you.
Donald Says: The freshly squeezed Burton Jussi has to be one of the most versatile freestyle/park boards I have ever ridden. The Jussi can charge the meanest of steeps while still allowing the forgiveness you need to stomp some of the most technical tricks in the park. With a "protip" on both nose and tail its swing weight is lightened without giving up any float in powder. View All Burton Snowboards

59: THIS BOARD ROCKS! they told me to take it out. i am glad i listened
to them. woo hoo! i always liked the shape but thought it was a tad too
stiff. not sure if the shape or tech changed but what i noticed the
most was the tip and tail seem softer without changing the stiffness
underfoot. so basically i could tail press / nose press this board a
lot easier while still charging down the hill. it has a ton of pop,
handled well on long mach 2 turns and also charged in the crappie trees
(good call Elliot). i also popped off a few rollers (couldn't charge it
in the park due to my knee). it was a bit twitchy on my first run, but
got better as time went on. honestly i think this board may be my 07
ride.

The jussi...
a few words for this board "A colorful mix of perfection" The jussi has always been an alltime favorite by burton... I don't see them too often where I ride but when I do I always have to ask the person how they like the board... and everytime I seem to get the same response... " I love it" One of these days I need to get on one of these to actually get the feel for myself. The graphics are killer, and from everyone ive talked to the board itself is to. Good in all ocnditions on the snow whether your slashin pow in the trees or huckin 912's (lol) off that small park kicker. A win win situation with this board everyone.. |

Just rode mine for the first time last weekend and it's my new favorite board. Great all-mountain. It really performs well everywhere.

Hi
Can Any one give a professional opinion which of the Burton bindings CO2, Cartel, P1 SZ will serve me the best with Jussi Oksanen Pro 157 & SL-7 size10 boots. I’m 5’8” 143 lb In addition which binding size M or L will be better for me Thanks Gershon |

the p1 are wat jussi himself rides, so they you know they are killer for that. they are also super comfy.
the cartel have a really high and stiff high back, a love or hate binding, i love mine, both pairs. and the co2 are also comfy, but are moreresponsive. i'd say co2 size medium i have 10s and larges are too big |

I would get the P1 without the SZ or the triads in size M with that setup.
RY - I thought the Jussi only came in 54 and 59. Jdsimmons2 - I believe Jussi uses C60 bindings. |

i think you saw the 09 p1s, they have the new cut out highback.
i just really don't think he rides c60's, cuz he's ridden p1s for the longest time.

its all good, actually its pretty clear for me in Picture This HD when he takes a bite out of the icecycle. He had one cherry white as his left binding and black as his right, toestraps were interchanged so the colours were mixed. and yah he was riding backcountry, i just checked Jumping with Jussi and he was using black and green kelly cartels. I guess it varies depending on the terrain he's on, but the P1s are definitely sweet bindings for the price point compared to C60s. |
