The smaller, brown one is Boots. The larger, grey one is Ms.Mowzers.

And another of Mowzers

Both are Siberian. Fantastic cats. Mowzers clocks in at about 18 lbs. Boots is about 15, but will only be a year in November....so we will see how big she gets. Siberians usually have a second growth spurt around age 2. Almost 100% hypoallergenic.

Silver has been riding a lot in a car during his later days. He started to do that after couple ride alongs. He was very curious. I tried to make it so it'll look like he's steering the wheel but he wouldn't stay long doing it.

Mowzers is fantastic. I have had her for almost 4 years now. One of the most chill cats ever. The only thing that freaks her out is Uncle Hoover. I used to walk around the house with her as a scarf around my neck. Didn't mind at all. Big smile I will have to try and get a picture sometime of her paws. She has the most amazing tufts of hair poking out between her toes.

The best is when she sits halfway over the AC/Heat vents when they are on. Squints her eyes like this picture, and her fur blows all over the place. Adorable. I love dogs, and wish I could have one, but I will take my little kitties any day. I am officially one of those crazy cat dudes.

Krazy, Haru is amazing! Looks like he could be a total bad ass. Love that one white tipped paw. Do you know the breed? Looks similar to the Siberian. That is just one cute ass cat man.

Here's Ellie Mae and Pacino, intrepid snowboard dogs.

They also assist me at the office at times.

And the wife's cat, Dr. Gonzo.  Cool green eyes, even though we've never really gotten along, but that's another story.

Thanks.  She totally kicks ass.  Has THE best personality I've ever seen in a cat.  Couldn't even begin to explain it.

As far as breed, I've got no idea.  I've heard a couple cat-obsessed people say one specific name or breed before, but it's one of those things that I could never remember unless I wrote it down or something.  She was a "farm" cat that we got from a friend of my dad's when she was a kitten.  That was about 16 years ago.  She's getting up there in age and you can tell she's getting tired.  Still kicking, tho.

I'll put up a couple more pictures in a bit.  We've got some good ones of her.

Funny about the shaving Krazy, my wife recently shaved our cat because it was barfing (she also gave it some kind of steroids which helped, but made it super aggressive . . . .)  Cats look funny shaved, for sure

Yeah, let's not turn this into a dog owner vs cat owners thing.  That'll end up like the skiers vs snowboarders endless nonsense.

Yeah, I never understood either arguments, to be honest with you. I guess the skiers v boarders I can SLIGHTLY understand...but the dog v cat, just don't get that.

For my last comment on this subject LOL I think the housing/area situation I am in, a dog would be a bad thing. I live in a small apartment, with a ravine for a back yard=no yard. I love dogs, but don't want to do that to one. I also really only like larger dogs, ones that want to run to for days.
But for an apartment dweller in the city, cats are just fine. Well, even when I lived out in the country and had a dog, we still had cats. They are just bad ass little creatures. Take care of insects and mice as well, can't beat that.
Anyways, /rant

EDIT: It is also nice having cats, as the wife and I regularly go out of town on long weekends. All you need to do is give them extra food and water, and they are fine. Can't do that with a dog. Can't even do that for one day with a dog.

No, the part that I don't get is why the hate? Why does this usually turn into some kind of petty argument? (happens with some friends I have as well) if you don't like cats....cool. If you don't like dogs....cool. Why try to argue with someone on why their cat is stoooopid, or why their dog is stooopid. Same reason of why waste your time and energy telling someone how dumb skiing is, or if you are a skier, how dumb I look being on one plank. I guess some people like to argue about dumb shit.
For the record, I am calling my self out and saying I do the same things. Hell, look at my rantings about hummers over in the car thread. Still not sure why dudes owning cats is worrying to some people.

I hear you.  We had cats growing up and they are awesome little characters.  My dog would disagree though.  He loves to chase cats.  He mistook a raccoon for a cat in our back yard one night this summer and I had to bail his ass out.

I wasn't trying to make the convo different, just stating I think it is odd so many guys own cats. I've always associated cats as a female pet.

I know 1 guy that has cats, with his wife.

My reasoning exactly.

I get cha now rzero. Didn't know if you were trying to imply something, or what.

On that note, here is a short video of mowzers going ape shit on the grooming last night, then stopped by a simple whistle. That cat is crazy...just weird.
