As many of you know, I'll be writing articles in the media section (yup it's official!). Before I go off the deep end and start delving into the intricacies of Reverse Camber and how it's connected to the curve in Cameron Diaz's fill-in-the-blank, I want to hear from you.
What do you want to read? What drives you? Where does your curiosity lie?
Have you been dying to know what happened with Eesa?
Did JP Walker get chin implant surgery?
Why are some people goofy and other people regulary?
Why do people still ski?
What is the "it" color for 2010?
Need to understand why companies like Burton and K2 keep acquiring other snowboard companies? Or even stranger non-snowboard companies?
Or simply do you want know what I had for lunch? (it was indian today)
Give me your thoughts, your questions and your interests. Over the course of the season, I'll look to answer as many of these topics as I can (or that Pauly lets me answer).

I didn't know something happened to Eesa, but now I want to know.
I also think a snowboarding on the cheap article would be sick. Featuring lift ticket and lodging deals. |

More industry stuff!
How is the industry doing, what are the forecasts, which brands do people prefer from each region, how many units does a model sell and why? Based on history of the model? Support from the overarching brand, pricing, top sheet design? I assume Burton is way strong on the East Coast and Japan, is Capita, K2, Ride strong in the Pacific Northwest because they are based there? Same with NeverSummer and CO? What's the deal with Burton's Battaleon-like scoop? Still not totally understanding the whole thing about video parts. Is that really the most efficient (or only way aside from contests) to get promotion for the brands sponsoring riders? How about a post on the various snowboard magazines out there and their strengths and weaknesses? Used to subscribe to TWS, subscribed to Snowboard Mag this season. Nice photos but content seems lacking. Reviews seem like it was force fed by PR people. So what happened to Eesa?

there are all good ideas. Also, what's happening at different resorts. Who is upgrading, who is opening more terrain, etc. The efforts to increase acreage at resorts. Land use is a huge issue, IMO. forest land is for everyone to enjoy, not just the trees either. Also, why are do snowboarding mags have more adverts in them than 'Seventeen' or 'Glamor' |

also in the green direction, I want to know what it means if a resort says they are part of sustainable slopes. I've seen this on some resort's lift tickets, but was wondering what they do to get that designation. |

Hoon -- I think some riding on the cheap articles would be great (especially in the diffreent regions). Discounted tickets, cheaper lodging, food, transportation, etc.
