Because i was living there at the time i got the debit card and never though of changing it when i moved, so in order for the process to go thru with them the billing addy had to match the address associated with said card. Either way i entered a separate shipping address so the shtook up is on them.

I though they had a system where if they no longer have it in stock the website would say "sold out"?   I bought ALOT of stuff and want every piece :)

    PSA: Eesa.com sale

ordered a bunch of stuff:3 pairs of socks, innerwear l/s, 2 pairs of boxers, 2 short slevve shirts. Order on 12/9......got an email from Cleary today, they only have the innerwear l/s everything else I ordered is sold out. Really pissed off, I ordered the socks before they went on sale and they have nothing left. I find that hard to believe, they must have filled orders out of sequence.

The website was stating what was and what wasn't in stock. They must have messed up somewhere if you guys aren't getting all of your orders. That doesn't give me much hope since I ordered on the 15th.

My order from the 15th shipped. I wonder what it will have/not have in it.
I didn't get a refund on the items they didn't ship in my first box yet, and they didn't respond to my e-mail.

The crappy thing about this is that I'm sure many people were buying a shit-ton of stuff to take advantage of combine shipping costs.  Paying full shipping costs and then only getting one item is terrible.

Also a quick FYI on the bamboo stuff: follow the wash instructions or it'll shrink up a bunch!  I knew not to put it in the dryer, but even putting it in a regular cold wash cycle vs. delicates shrunk some of my shirts up a bunch.  I was able to stretch them out again for air drying, but still something to keep in mind.

some of you bitch a lot.

1. many people have been saying time and time again that they placed their orders early december, and got it barely before christmas (that would make for ~20 day wait).

2. you're getting great gear for a ridiculous price.

3. they're issuing refunds. sucks that some of you are not getting your gear, but they're giving you refunds.

4. this may not mean much to some, but i e-mailed cleary after i placed my order asking if there was any possibility that i'd get my shipment in sooner since i paid a bit more for 3 day shipping. he said there was no way and would definitely refund my shipping costs. i've had pretty good contact with cleary, and maybe i was just lucky.

i ordered mine quite a bit later than some (17th, i believe), so we'll see what i actually get. maybe i got lucky and ordered stuff that others weren't trying to get, so we'll see. if i don't get anything, i'm sure i'll get my money back, no problemo. it was worth a shot to get some sick layering for a ridiculous price.
peace.

Bitch alot? Really?

1.)  20 day wait. That would be acceptable in 70's or the 80's. In 2010, I would expect it to arrive within a week. Thats not a bitch.

2.)  Great gear at a great price. Yes, we are. Keep in mind that Eesa had to sell this FAST, so they HAD to lower the prices, probably at what they originally paid for it and get there money back instead of taking a loss.

3.)Refunds? Thats not a question. It's a Must. If you don't deliver the product and take the cash, thats theft. Plain and simple. Refund is a must.

4.) Again, there is something fishy in denmark. The website is programmed with a certain amount of product, once it reaches that limit, it will sell out. IT WILL NOT be available to purchase if sold out. Im thinking he sold to his friends or maybe made a side deal with a business making a deal to purchase large quantities.

My name is Skyhawk and I give the score of C- for service. I give a C- instead of an F because supposedly, he is the only one shipping and packing the product.

I sent Cleary an email today about my order and this is what he said...

Interesting, we shipped everything yesterday (we finally caught up), but I don't see your order.

Let me check another spot, if not I'll get them out in the am.

sorry about that.

Thanks for your patience and have a killer 2010!

i've been answering questions on eesa at easyloungin. here's the thread link (sorry too much work to double post on multiple messageboards).

Some top questions:

1. Items are being shipped as orders were received.
2. Some items are out of stock. Cleary will do a refund on out of stock items and reconcile things after all orders are shipped
3. Every box is coming with a bunch of extra schwag (as quantities remain) to compensate for any delays and because he's a rad dude
4. Everyone needs to keep in mind that you are getting an amazing deal on stuff for cheap so if shipping costs you $10-$20, you should keep in mind you just saved somewhere from $50-$100 off of MSRP
5. Eesa has closed their doors. They did not go bankrupt. Cleary and family have moved to MD (hence why orders are being shipped from MD) and are not in VT (so you can't pick anything up in Waterbury). He shut the doors because he got an amazing offer for a new gig in a similar industry (aka non-compete clause, etc.).

Well I got 3 things out of the 9 things I ordered, paid about $18.00 in shipping. And I live in MD where it was shipped from. I think that is a bit ridiculous. Actually, I just checked the address and it shipped from about 5 minutes from my house.

you got 3 out of the 9 things you ordered, and probably saved way more than 18 bucks on those things + like Hoon said Cleary is a rad dood so he's probably gonna refund a portion of the shipping.

I think its ridiculous that your complaining, net net, you made off with a massive win even if you didn't get everything you wanted.

Damn kMc, I'd be pissed too. 18 bucks shipping for 3 items IS ridiculous regardless of how good a deal it was or still is. Especially considering your proximity.. If i were you, I'd try to get some of your shipping charges refunded... I'm holding my breath to see what fedex brings me later this week... I ordered 18 items on the 17th(mostly socks) totaling at $110.40 of which $26.58 was shipping. The fedex tracking info says the package weighs one pound. Now I don't know how much a pair of socks weighs but, I can't imagine what kind of "extra schwag" could possibly be in that box if the entire package only weighs a pound. I think the most difficult part to deal with is the lack of communication/response to emails. The first response took over a week.. I've yet to get a response from my last 2 questions... I understand that the guy is probably super busy but, the bottom line is money was spent and with that comes the expectation that we either get what we paid for, or he'll make due with refunds or whatnot. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect anything less. I'm sure everything will work itself out in the end but I can't say I'm not a little worried.

They ran out of 1 of the shirts I ordered for 4.99, and there was a credit to my card for 14.97.  Refunded an extra 10 bucks... Cleary is the man.

thanks for the backup scott! yea i don't think im being unreasonable. mine was also1.0 lb, and I ordered on the 16th. I feel like I wouldn't be as upset if I were getting any replies to my email that I sent asking about a refund/the things that I ordered. Maybe it's just me, but I am poor and $50.00 is a lot of money, and to not have it back in my account or get the things I paid for is kind of a big deal. It's not like I am purposely trying to be a jerk or anything.

For those of you whose orders have shipped, can you log into the eesa site and check your order history and tell me if the status says "shipped" please? I ordered on the 15th and my status still says "pending" and I have yet to receive any emails from eesa besides the initial order conformation and an email I sent Cleary.

Those of you who also ordered on the 15th or after seem to have received your packages or have at least gotten tracking numbers for them, while I haven't gotten anything. Cleary even replied to my email and said he shipped out all orders but didn't see mine. Not sure what's going on...

I placed an order on the 16th, and just got my package today.  I order 12 items for $47.88 + 19.68 in shipping (total: $67.56).

The package came with two items which together total $14.98.

I checked my card statement online and see that they charged me the full amount and there is no credit whatsoever for the unshipped items.  I put in a call to 802-244-7077, no answer, left a message.  I also sent an email.  We'll see what happens...

I'd like to think that I'm not out $32.90, which doesn't even include the silly shipping charge.  (...which btw, is insane considering it costs $7.95 to ship a GROUND package from MD to CA that weighs 1lb... and that's assuming this was not shipped against a FedEx account which would give a bit of a discount)

Pretty lame; a little bummed.  I'll update later if anything changes.

Supposedly, they're going to "start" processing refunds next week.

So you ordered 12 items and received 2? What were the 10 items that were out of stock?

I'm sure you'll get a refund back.  Like I posted earlier, I received 2 out of 4 items on Dec. 23rd and had placed my order on the 5th.  I eventually was refunded back the cost of the items I didn't receive on the 28th.  Just be patient, I'm sure Cleary will work everything out.

To people that are worried about refunds, do you even read the thread you are posting in before posting?

I don't understand why people are so concerned, like they are just going to steal from you and not deliver a product?  If you can't afford to be out 50 bucks for a couple weeks, then perhaps you shouldn't be buying frivolous layering items in an online sale?

That's actually exactly why I am worried.

I have been to mall stores or the like before when they were closing down.  Typically there are signs and notices that read, "All sales are final."  If a company is closing, there is no way to get a refund or return an item.  The difference with a brick and mortar store closing down is that you get to see the product and take it with you at the point of purchase.

Eesa clearly had a poor inventory management system if they were selling so many items that were not actually available.  Most people are talking about receiving only 20-40% of their order.  It would be a lot different if people were only shorted one item here or there.

As far as getting a refund, I'm not ultimately worried about $40 in the long run.  If I don't get it back, eh... whatever.  However, a company should never send a partial order without first settling the charge on the card to the correctly adjusted amount.  This holds true for a company going out of business as well as one staying in business.

Maybe I just have higher standards as I work for an online retailer...
