Woah... picking your 4-yr degree institution based almost solely on riding proximity? Wow.

haha. well i mean i've already had quite a few stops - started at boston college, brief stint at nassau community, right now at suny stony brook. I'm not good at this college stuff and I think a small school, small town, some snowboarding, and winter white might be what i need right now.

If you're set on the poconos, the University of Scranton isn't far from Elk, Camelback, Montage, and Michael Scott...

Check out SUNY DELHI
I grew up partially in this town and loved every minute of it. Great small town, awesome fishing, beautiful scenery, and some sweet people. Also New Paltz is a bigger sweeter town and a much better school. If you can, then go there. Only problem, it's a little over an hour to the slopes. Check out the proximity to Hunter, Windham, Belleayre, and Platekill. Google Map Link |

It was in-tents.

Bard is a very liberal arts college near wyndam, lehigh u. not too far from the poconos, east stroudsburg is right there too. Nothing wrong with picking your higher education institution based on its prox. to snow. I went to ski u., C.U.(Boulder) based on its general location.( i also went to Bard, f.y.i)
