Aaron Says: Burton Shaun White pro model is an aggressive all-mountain/freestyle snowboard. Put to the test by none other than Shaun White himself, you will find this snowboard's small waist and deep sidecut are tuned for riding halfpipe at a high caliber. Don't let this stop you all-mountain rippers, deep sidecut and narrow waist also carves like Grandpa's knife at Thanksgiving.
Mike Says: Shaun White won the Gold Metal in the Olympic halfpipe event. Shaun White won the US Open. Shaun White won all three Triple Crown contests. Shaun White has won 6 X-Games Gold Metals. Shaun White rides big Alaska Mountains in the movie, First Descent. Shaun White has done all this and is still a teenager. Finally, Shaun White does all these great things on his signature snowboard: The White Collection. Winners ride this board. You are not a loser, are you? View All Burton Snowboards

shaun white
58: surprise surprise. the boy wonder actually made a longer length
board with a decent waist width (c'mon 242 on a 56???)... anyway i have
never really been impressed with XGames / Mtn Dew boy's board. i
thought the spec and shape were weird and that it rode too stiff and in
other words, wack. so i took this one out with a bit of trepidation,
but figured what the hey. definitely a stiff board. the quick flatland
at the top of the gondola let me know that this would not be a dom. i
rode this mach 2 and just loaded up the tail and let it fly. it really
reminded me of a custom crossed with a raven (which makes sense). took
it through the mini pipe where it shined. actually on the ice, it cut
like a knife. definitely a good east coast ice board.
all i can say is that most of the boards look so good in person. some boards that people seemed to really rave about (that i didn't get to try) were: twin, custom (seriously), vapor, elite (didn't see it there) |

hmmm gonna have to agree w/ hoon...
not JUST because I dont like shaun white...but for other reasons too I think the graphics for the board this year are just not "up to par" the board is a lot of money and doesn't put out the performance as some of the other burton boards do for the same cost. not much else to say just not feelin it this year shaun maybe next time |

258 has a ww of 243... it's do-able with a 9 to 9.5 boot. i had no issues with it when i tested the 07. not ideal, but do-able.
edit: after much thought, i still like the board... but yah it would suck due to the waist width. |
