Selling a frames

 

I don't think that those lenses are persimmon...

 

 

 

I currently have 2 different pairs of Oakley A-Frames:  one pair with Persimmon lenses and one pair with Black Iridium lenses and the ones in this thread's included picture above is neither.

 

 

 

I don't know what lenses they are but if you bought em' from Freeskier19, I'm pretty sure that I'm correct about them not being Persimmon.

 

See I also bought some A-Frames from Freeskier19 that he had advertised as having persimmon lenses about a month or 2 ago--and he was selling multiple pairs that were all the same.

 

When they arrived I was disappointed to discover that they were not Persimmon lenses as I already had a pair of Oakley A-Frames with (authentic) Persimmon lenses to compare them to.

 

I contacted him about the discrepancy and told him that I would need to return them for refund.

 

He graciously apologized for the mix-up stating that he truly believed them to be Persimmon lenses and agreed to refund my money.

 

You must've bought your A-Frames from Freeskier19 before he knew the truth...

 

I just thought I'd chime in to save both the buyer and the seller from the troubles that Freeskier19 and I had...

 

I actually took a pic of my Persimmon lenses and the ones that Freeskier19 had sent me in the same frame for Freeskier19 to compare and I just deleted it the other day...

 

That's how it went down...

 

 

 

Did you buy these from Freeskier19?

 

 

 

I'm not saying that they're not REAL/AUTHENTIC Oakley A-Frames--only that those lenses are not PERSIMMON--that's all--it's why I returned the ones I bought from him--because they were advertised as Persimmon lenses and, of course, I was expecting Persimmon lenses--since they were not Persimmon lenses--I did not want them.

 

 

 

It was actually just dumb luck that I happened to:

see the pic of the goggles,

and see Freeskier19's post about them.

 

I then deduced that you must've bought them from him and decided to post...

 

 

 

I'll even take a pic of my A-Frames and post it, hold on a minute while I do so...

Incorrect sir (though you seem to keep wishing on this each time a new possibility on the lens type comes up). Persimmon lenses and the VR-28s tend to retail at the same price. The iridium is when the price starts to go up. 

 

 

What I would do if I were you is figure out which lenses you have WITH CERTAINTY and then create a NEW ACCURATE listing for them...
