i'm kind of stealing his post, but I was wondering if it would be suicide to hit the park on a custom X that is not detuned (other than tip/tail) OR beveled. It feels fine carving and jumping, but I have never done rails/boxes before and I'm not sure it's a good idea to learn it on this board.
Do I need to invest in a separate board? Thx

it's not suicide, but.... a. you're making things a lot harder on yourself. b. not sure why you would want to fuk up a 700 dollar board on jibs. c. jib sticks are not expensive at all. especially past season boards. |

I learned to do boxes and rails on my 07 or 08 custom X, I bought it before I did park and now I do it most of the time but I just ordered a sierrascope. |

I was thinking the exact same thing when I took my Cyngus on the park at brighton.. What the hell right.. had to do it for review of the board vs the EVO-R |
