basing something on post is ridiculous! Most of the experts, and ppl with 1000+ post get free crap anyway. Whats good for SS is good for us all. It allows them to give away free vapors, and boards 5 days a week!

I know some people might be frustrated for not winning, but I'm not walking home with a new Vapor either today.  Just know that you're working with limited info before you start making claims.

The cool thing about guest_106847 is that he was in fact logged in and after looking at his order history, the way he got a sweet name like "guest_," he's bought some sweet gear and is getting his family involved in a sport that he loves.  I would feel so lucky to have someone spend their paycheck to get me involved in a great sport and I'm proud that someone like that is winning the Vapor.  This will probably make his year and it puts a smile on my face too.

Thanks for continuing to log into the giveaway, replay and everyone else.  We love to see you everyday.  Just know that these giveaways aren't stopping anytime soon.

I've logged in for these free giveaways whenever I get a chance, never won.. I'm just unlucky. Congrats to todays winners! Also who cares if they have no posts, "Beginners luck" I believe is the phrase for this situation. If your not mathematically challenged your percentage of winning is already low, yet winning a free stick is more probable every time you participate in a free giveaway, your day will come, as will mine! So keep logging in every weekday before 3pm!!

I dunno if the tiered giveaway is the right way to do things in truth. Not because ive got too few posts or anything (im never awake for the giveaway anyway), but because its kinda nice to see people who dont really know a lot about the sport suddenly finding themselves in possession of a nice new deck. The guys with a thousand odd posts more than likely have at least one spanking hot board and a few for other occasions.

But i do see the purpose behind wanting to reward the regulars for their support, so how about just having the occasional unannounced giveaways at random times of the day every now and again? I mean it doesnt have to be a daily thing or anything like that, but if you do it when its not a big event then chances are youll catch predominantly the regular users and thus achieve the goal of rewarding them, whilst still bringing in the new guys for the daily.

ooooh! i have another idea if youre looking for ways to bring in some fun spins on it! How about a $100 giveaway? That is you throw out a nice deck and guys who are committed to buying it if they win the raffle sign up for it. Chances are youll find more regular users participating than non regulars if thats your aim.

Ultimately though its not a big deal, because as the season dies out people will be elsewhere for the most part. Likely itll all balance out with predominantly regular users who use the forums to chat on being the main brunt of the people on the site at the time of the giveaway.

Also, i doubt anyone minds a chance to win free stuff at the end of the day, so if they dont win, they dont win :) I really like the idea of the $100 giveaway though. Combine it with the first idea, give people an hours notice to enter and it could be really funny.
