Don't try it on somebody else's board. That's a dick move. Do it on your own  board.

I kid, I kid LOL I was being sarcastic ... LOL.

However, I will try it on my own board.

For those of you who have done this, what is an approximate timeframe to rock a board completely out?

I have a new board I am considering doing this on.

It really doesn't take that long.  Especially if you have worked on a snowboard before.  It took me less than an hour from start to finish.

Edit: Misread his post :/

WOWWWW.  Takes me like 5 minutes to do a board and 10 for a set of skis.   It's really not that complex.

But I didn't bevel it enough, although
it saved it from 99% of gapers and tree
hits. The 1% damage inflicted was from

Pretty much sand paper, but works on metal and fiberglass really well

Angle the file at a 45 Degree angle with the corner of the topsheet and file down a bit to get rid of the "edge" of the topsheet.3) If you got the fine file, take it back around again to smooth it out. When I'm on this step, instead of doing a 45 degree angle, I rock it back in forth with the 45 degree angle as my mid point. This will "round" the topsheet down and in my opinion be even more effective than simply a 45 degree angle.

Damn this is absolutely brilliant, so what would you guys recommend for the size of grain for a more coarse file, and for a finer file what size grain for that?

just did it to my burton hero.
ran a bastard file over it, and then with a ceramic stone to smooth it out. doesnt look like much of a difference. will run black sharpie over it just to make it subtle.
