so im pretty sure everyone has seen the snow slowly build up on top of your snowboard as you keep riding throughout the day. it doesnt bother much people but its starting to get me. does anyone have a solution? any sprays or type of wax? let me know. im trying to show off my board instead of hiding it under all that snow that builds up.

Uhm, just bang it against the snow or shake it when you strapping up or on the lift line?

spray the top of your board with pledge*, but avoid your stomp area.
*i don't do this and not sure if it will adversely effect the top sheet, but pledge is pretty slippery stuff commonly used for lube for foosball. maybe you could carry a feather duster and just sweep it off when the snow builds up. |

Spit.
You know how people spit in their goggles before they scuba dive to keep water from sticking on the inside, well I'm sure it would work for your board too. You might want to suck on an atomic fireball or something beforehand to get that saliva buildup going though, thats a lot of area to cover. |

How did this thread go from snow on your board to Wu-Tang. Anyways just shake it off if it bothers you that much. Remember you are riding in the snow, it is going to happen.

Wipe it down with some Goo-Gone. Nothing is going to stick to it then, including future die-cuts. But like lebaron said, avoid the stomp area or you wont stay on it either.

Just stomp it down at the end of the run, when you unstrap.

Holy effin goat arse!
I just bought a brand new Joystick and my first run some newbie whacked it so hard it dented the edge and destroyed the top layer. He looks at me and rolls down the hill (I was strapping in)
I hollared at him "Thanks you douchebag" What will people think of me now that my board isn't so pretty anymore?
Maybe I can just let the snow build up right there in that little area?

I can relate to the thread starter's frustration, when I go dirt biking it makes me sad when the dirt covers up the logos on my gear.

I just do the stomp method like everyone suggested when one foots unstrapped, before or after a run. I dont have a stomp pad so I usually wipe the snow between my bindings off while on the chair.

Showing off your board definately sounds a lot better than riding with stylee, no one cares how good anyone is after all, it's all about the gear they're rocking. And by all means when I see people eating sh*t every 20 feet on a burton method that I can clearly see due to grooming the snow off the board, stealing that thing and putting that board out of its misery is the last thing on my mind

I don't like it when the snow moves from it's place on the mountain. I scrape the snow off my board, put it in a baggy, and then pour it out at the top of the mountain.

I got sooo tired of this myself so I installed two stove top heating elements on the top sheet.
I now run into a problem of burning my jacket walking back to the car though.

Get a flame retardant jacket? I believe we have found the solution: heating elements and flame retardant jacket to prevent jacket burns, probably add flame retardant gloves too.

its kinda like when it snows on the road. Covers up that beautiful pavement and yellow/white lines. I hate it when that happens. on a side note- just start riding at a dry slope! make sure you have your best kook outfit on! |

I use my heat-beam-vision powers to melt it at an incredible rate. But I was buried in radioactive materials which lead to this wondrous occurrence, so I think you might have to go with some small heaters to attach to your bindings.
