I just received my burton Custom X, it did not have the typical "Get Lifted" sticker on it.  The board swomanuld be eligible for a get lifted pbutt :(.  Have anybody else had problems with this?  I wonder if the board was a return and the person that returned it "forgot" to put it back on.  or maybe it was a display board.

where did you purchase the board? some complained sierra didnt send some boards with them but you can just call up sierra or burton and give them the serial number and they'll give you the Get Lifted code.

I bought several Burtons from sierra in the past month. (10) All qualified, however only 5 came with the sticker. One of the 5 that had one said it has been used.

I just want to make sure that people know that the only 'valid' Get Lifted tickets are from 2010 boards. There are a lot of 2009 boards still being sold (or at least were sold recently), and those are NOT valid (according to Burton's website). Also, the Get Lifted stickers on the 2010's expire soon!

So if someone has one, and their is no way they can use it this season, they should think about giving it to someone who can....

I just received my V Rocker, and it didn't come with a get lifted sticker. I contacted Sierra and said they couldn't do anything, and that I had to call Burton. (800) 881-3138

My friend bought a joystick and it didnt come with one. He noticed a defect on the board and brought it back to Sierra, where he got a new one which actually did come with a ticket. Wierd. But what really irritated me was to find out that these tickets arent even non-restricted, they still have black outs and only sun-fri, no sat. Youd think that when burton advertises a free lift ticket it would be unrestricted. O well

My new V-rocker arrived SANS the Get Lifted tag. With one short call to Burton with serial number in hand and a little patience, I received the confirmation code and I selected my ski pass.

Bottomline, no sticker, no problem... call Burton and get a free lift ticket.

5 for myself (was going to be 6) and 5 for others.
Best prices ever on new Burton stuff, I wasnt going to let it pass.

As far as there being restrictions, it all depends on the resort/hill/mountain etc.
Example, my local hill the only restriction it applies to is no night passes (4:30-close)
Nice that it covers the spendy weekends/holidays.

Not so nice that the c r-appy weather means they are closing for the season this weekend.

ALL 09/10 lift tickets expire 5/15/2010, maybe sooner depinding on the location.
All the info you need.

Yes I did go to the link I just posted, as I have redeemed my own tickets a few weeks ago. The stickers say 5/15 right on them and may expire sooner..
Like I said, all the info they need is on that site.

My point was that I posted already when it expired, the link YOU posted said when it expired, and then you post the wrong expiration date.... Good job there buddy.

Yes. Vegan ones please. I'll PM you my address.
I think these are a good choice

As for the other matter. Why state something incorrectly, and make someone double check what you said so they don't get screwed? Are you that unreliable? I mean, if they see
ALL 09/10 lift tickets expire 5/15/2010
they might believe you (has that never happened before?) and think they have a little time and not use it until after the actual expiration date. You saying "oh you should have checked what I said, I gave you a link.." is weak at best. Why not just give the correct information so no one gets f***ed?

As for my cookie.. when do you think you will be ordering it?

the Get Lifted tickets does expire on April 30,2010.. altho Burton says that it expires 5/15 on the sticker and whatnot.. Once you redeem it, the voucher says the ticket must be used before 4/30.

  1. You can have all the credit for posting when the tickets expire, you seem to really want it.
  2. I will give you the credit for posting the link with ALL the info anyone needs about these stupid free tickets. Anyone who takes any advice from anyone on a forum without reading the "fine print" deserves to get F****D! They need to read the darn link anyway as it has the list of resorts that support the program.
  3. I will even give you credit for correcting people on stating that the restrictions depend on the location, not on the ticket, wait.. didn't I do that?... You can have the credit anyways.
  4. Was my post reallllly thaaaaat far out there? You are acting like I commited treason. The stickers say "Some restrictions apply, offer expires 5/15/2010. See burton.com/getlifted for details" I.... I mean, you, posted the link with all the info anyone needed. Why the heck you gotta jump on my nuts? Unless you want to jump on my nuts? Confused
  5. As far as your cookie goes, I am not buying you one, I am baking it myself, with love. I am still waiting on that PM.

1. I don't want any credit. It just happened to be me that posted the correct information, I would be saying the same things if someone else posted it.
2. Why? I don't want the credit, I didn't say that, so why would I? However, you did, AFTER you presented poor information. Are you trying to get credit for something? Cuz you seem to be grasping for it. Fine it's yours, good job for posting the link, I am sure it was helpful
However, it isn't fair to point your finger and blame someone for trusting you, some people are naive and believe that if someone states something like an expiration date, then they might know what they are talking about. I mean, who posts incorrect information and tries to pass it off like they know what they are talking about? Oh wait, that would be you.
It would be easy to read what you wrote, think you have some time, check out the site in early May to see what resort is available, and see that the ticket had expired.
3. Again, why? I don't want the credit, I didn't say that either.
4. No, you just shouldn't post incorrect info, especially if you have all the correct information available to you (both on the page you are posting on and on the site you are posting). You should stop being so defensive, understand you mistake and learn from it. Hopefully next time you will check your facts before you post something on a wall that people may take seriously.
And I'm not sure I want to jump on your nuts, it seems painful... I am not that mean.
5. PM is sent! My mouth is watering already!
