Hi spenser,

Any chance you got a SMALL EST available? and would like to suggest one for freestyle all mountain / park binding (mainly all mountain)?

dont have any smalls, but those are a lot easier to find than mediums

and its all preference.  if you like a softer binding, exiles should do the trick.  if you like a pretty normal mid flex, maybe cartels or triads.  or something stiffer, c02s...

the channel is a little wider and the hardware is different.

i forget what the crossover is as far as what works and what doesnt.. all 2010 and previous gear will work together, but mixing 2011 and 2010/previous gets tricky, but like i said i cant remember what works and what doesnt.

yep, channel and bindings are the same from 2008 through 2010.. 2011 is when it changes

Too late.. ><
Anyway, so if I have a 2010 custom V-rocker, I better get a binding this year??

im not sure.  like i said, i dont know the crossover for what works and what doesnt.  old bindings on new channel, or old channel with new bindings.. one works and one doesnt.

I think it's 2011 that aren't compatible with 2010...I just e-mailed Burton and specifically asked them if 2010 Burton bindings are compatible with 2011 channel without the use of a disk (aka the use of Burton retro disk of this year). Burton e-mailed me back saying that my 2010 Cartel EST's well be fully compatible with the 2011 ICS system- dunno if the non- compatibility complaints are just rumors or what because I got info straight from the horses mouth.

youre probably right.  the thing that makes the difference is the hardware for next years channel.  the ics disk is also different.. it looks like a regular disk, rather than the thick/padded current ICS disk.

i do know for sure that not everything is compatible with eachother, and that came from my rep.   theyre also supposed to be supplying shops with little card things that show the compatibility between the new system and the old system, but i dont have one yet.  i got a set of the new ICS disk with my cobrasharks, and they came with next years ICS bolts but not the female end that goes in the channel, but those are shaped differently than the current ones and they match the plug in the channel.

Hey spenser,

Do you have a website or any links to your shop so that i can have a look at your wears and gears? Interested in some brand spanking new EST bindings small - medium. Cant seem to find any in stock at sierra. Could you hit me up with a PM.

Cheers mate

All est bindings will be compatible with all ics boards regardless of year.

if you want to run a 2010 or older est binding on a 2011 board, you will need the new hardware kit which burton will supply upon request.  if you buy 2011 bindings for an older board then you just use the hardware that came with that board

Hey spenser - have you got many non-EST  bindings in Large? Damn I wish I'd bought those black P1.1 bindings when they were only 129 bucks. All sold out on here now.

athousandmonkeys - we have a pair of large white 2010 cartels and large rasta (coalition) infidels.

considering this is already a good price (30% off + shipping) and new gear is coming out (close to season now) for only full price, and you cant find medium ESTs almost anywhere, this price as fine.  its the cheapest price online for exiles in medium, if you can even find them in medium at all.
