Came across this article while surfing the net right now. You may already know of this, but for those who don't here's the link. All you do apparently is buy 10 gallons of gas at participating Shell gas stations...

A few resorts in CO have the same deal wth Shell too. I think they are Copper, Winter Park, Monarch and one or two more. Good deal though!

Every season pass holder is praying they don't do this deal again next year. It ruins Sundays for
everone. The crowds ate out of control.

Why are at the resort on the weekends if you have a season pass?

Many people with normal jobs can only go during the weekends. :/

I hate lines too man but I see it as a trade off, more people there means that the sport is growing and more people can enjoy what we do now. I'm not hatin man, I have a season pass and usually only go on Fri or Sat cause of school and get pi$$ed about lines.

I've got two of these left that I doubt I'll be able to use this season... not much snow left in Michigan.

I have some family in CO who might be able to use them, but if not, I'll be posting them up for grabs in the Good Kharma Club.

Yeah it ruined it for everyone, not just pass holders..I have my pass elsewhere and usually like to drop in ocassionally on sundays, but that deal has made it pretty bad. Sometimes it takes way over an hour just to get from the Northstar exit to the parking lot.

I was only kidding. I hate the weekend lines at the bigger places, you can usually find me at Boreal. Pretty empty most days now. Their cheaper and open til 9pm.

Yeah I was at Breack last weekend and there were Taxans erry where, lines sucked. Where I go we only have five lifts and if I wait even a couple of minuets I get impatient.

This deal made Sundays crazy too... The bf and I were trying to take advantage of the B1G1 free lift tickets for Sierra on February 28. We have season passes for Heavenly but thought we'd meet up with some friends at Sierra for Sunday. Well, we got there at about 10:30, the parking lot was full and they wouldn't let anyone else in. I wanted to turn around and go back to Heavenly but we ended up not boarding that day.

Edit: The friends who DID make it to Sierra that Sunday reported that it took over an hour to make it up two lifts.

yes, every person in the world already knows about this f*cking deal. And although I have vertical plus and cut all the lines at sierra anyway, Sundays are still horrible for parking, traffic, and just having a bunch of retards all over the mountain. NOT COOL.

Sierra is looking like Northstar with this deal.  Really it's too much.  I wish I had a pass to somewhere else good only on Sundays.

It really is too much. Sierra is supposed to be mellow, I ride there for a reason. Place isn't big enough for all the people that have been showing up. Like your jersey in your picture btw, GO SHARKS.

good thing i work on the weekends so i don't have to fight with the crowds. The buy one get one free is only work on certain weekday here so no biggie for me Big smile and i'm happy to see more ppls on the slope, but hate them on the ski lines because ppls run over my board all the timeCry and some of them gave me a look like "WHAT??" Ouch mean ppls nowadays. But generally ppls are cool and lay back here which i love. Clap
