Teens steal pizza, face SWAT team

Written by Jason Zasky  as part of Failure Analysis

March 23—The pizza at Sicily’s in Anchorage, Alaska, must be really, really good. So good that it’s worth dying for—or at least spending years in prison.

On Sunday night, four youths—two 19-year-old males and two females (ages unknown)—robbed a Sicily’s Pizza delivery driver at gunpoint. The driver resisted and a struggle ensued, but the quartet eventually secured the pizza and ran off. They did not take the driver’s money.

The driver followed one of the females—who apparently wasn’t as fleet of foot as her accomplices—to a nearby apartment. When Anchorage police arrived on the scene they took the girl into custody, but the males—Joseph Nicalaskey and Cesasr Alvarez-Jennings—and the other female barricaded the door and refused to come out.

“They communicated to the officers that they knew they were going to jail and didn’t want to come out because they wanted to eat the pizza,” said Lt. Dave Parker.

Police subsequently called in a SWAT team, which broke into the apartment and arrested the trio. The males were charged with first-degree robbery, third-degree assault, and resisting an officer. The females were charged with robbery and assault.

or go to the malls and get kicked out.  i got kicked out with my friend a few years ago on a snowboard trip because we were being weird and laughing and went to the bathroom.. security guards thought we were suspicious so they followed us in, and we were still laughing in the bathroom.. mostly cause my friend and i were tandem-pooping next to eachother in separate stalls and i could hear the kerplunks, so they told us to come out..

best part?  i had put pooper paper down on the seat before sitting.. sat and never pooped, but when i stood up and came out of the stall when they told us to come out, i had paper stuck to the back of my pants.  the guy goes "take the shit paper out ya ass!"

There are some hungry folk out there. I'm surprised the delivery guy would even put up a struggle. I'm sure a large roni and some pocket change isn't worth his life.

I would've done it for a pizza. They should've just robbed an entire pizza place or something though. And then forced the pizza guys to keep making them pizza until the SWAT team busted in.

Can't believe the pizza guy chased after these people over a pie, especially if they left him the money.  Seems like overkill.

^^ lol he can get in a lot of trouble, 1. He doesn't have a pie to deliver to the original owner, 2. That pie comes out of his paycheck, 3. They lose a customer and receives a bad reputation

also, notice that none of the kids were charged of possession of a weapon

Assuming that he's not licensed and the weapon isn't registered?  It's not that tough to be able to carry a weapon legally, at least in MN.

Where the hell can you carry a gun in MN?  I figure it's legal but everywhere I go I see signs on doors saying "___________ prohibits handguns on its premises"

A couple were charged with 1st degree robbery.  That usually means robbery with a deadly weapon, so that's probably the gun charge too.

That's pretty much it.  With a conceal and carry license you can have it on you anywhere you go.  If a business won't allow it they have to put that sign up by the entrance, thus the reason you see them pretty much everywhere.  It's pretty wild.

I was also thinking something along the lines of one of those assault charges would just include the gun charge as well.  I doubt somebody that's stupid enough (or high enough) to rob a f**kin pizza guy at gun point for one pizza wouldn't be smart enough to take the time and get a gun legally, or be allowed to.
